Currently my team HOF candidates are filled with 2-3 star players who retired from my team 10-15 seasons ago. Is it possible to have a button or something to remove them from the pool of eligible players?
And also, I think it's better to sort the players based on their retirement season rather than on their first name. Thanks. |

No love for those old school guys? You can pretend they were from an era when guys wore leather helmets and they drew up plays in the dirt.

I'm all for this. Even if it's a "Pay money/credits to make him ineligible forever" type of button.

It would cause a major change in the database, because I would have to add such a useless (IMO) flag to every single players. No, not for such a low benefit. Ignore them. It is like if you sit down in a meeting and think who could be hall of famer this year? In each single meeting someone would mention Manning...deal with it

Or maybe there were just great people off the field, and putting them into the HOF is more for what they contributed off the field and representing your team/organization in a great way than how they performed while on it. Seriously though, you can either spin a tale of why an "unworthy guy" is in the HOF, or do what pete said and completely ignore it. Although, me personally, its more fun to make up a story to go with it. |

You could possibly just not show guys after 5-6 years. So basically if someone doesn't put a player in 5-6 years after they are eligible, assume they aren't going to do it, and don't put them in the list.
