Sad to see SD lose their team after so many years. Although the Bolts never took home the trophy, their contribution to the development of football through coaching and talent is undeniable. My hope is that this move reenegizes that tradition because the AFC West is one of the most fun divisions in football.

Because two teams in LA worked so well back in the 90s...
I think its a terrible decision from a pretty terrible owner. Fans have turned out for the Chargers for over fifty years, without a title since the early AFL days, and this is what they get. Holding cities to ransom so they cough up public money to build stadiums for NFL teams that are bringing in millions every year is a joke, an absolute joke. I think its a crying shame. |

I think it's one facet of capitalism but nobody likes losing a team. I'm a Buffalo Bills fan and we almost lost our team to Toronto but in that circumstance capitalism saved us because instead of short term profit investers saw value in long term development. It's a shame SD couldn't make the owner see it that way and that is their failure.

We have the Munich Cowboys, Dresden Monarchs and so on...we should build a base first. As long as a gameday in the highest german league is about selling mothers cake on some "stadiums", and half of the teams are not able to provide a 25sec clock, we should not aim for having full-pro teams... |
