There is a % of the human race that seeks to exploit every loophole for their own advantage without caring what the consequences are for everyone else. It is a shame it is done here at RZA, for as we say here in Australia, 'We're not playing for sheep stations.'
Though if there is an advantage from this strategy I'm not sure it's that worthwhile? Might have to tweak the game engine so it is impossible to punt on any down apart from the 4th...can't think of any RL team that would punt early, so why allow it here? There was a time that the Detroit Lions best offensive strategy would be to just back up and punt!
I can't see any harm in making it "punt only on 4th down". |

Let the game engine override the playbook when it says punt on 1st, 2nd or 3rd downs. just think of it as the head coach overruling the offensive coordinator. Then whatever is in the 'basic' game settings can s e l e c t the play.
