Teams that we can almost definitely rule out: Browns, Jaguars, 49ers, Jets, Rams.

Pats vs Giants
I don't believe too much in this Raiders hype, remember, they are coached by J. Del Rio, aka #TheManWhoKilledTheJaguars Cowboys seems a far too common pick too, so let's pick a team with a good Defense and no rushing attack ( the anti-Cowboys, basically) |

Dak is a candidate for a sophomore slump, he cant possibly be as effective as he was last season, they reshuffled their famous OL a little and still lack depth on D. Zeke is great, but how much difference does he really make? besides his incredible TD numbers (which is a fluky stat and usually not sustainable), his season was about as good as Jordan Howards for the bears, who no one talks about... its still all about the OL in dallas imo. I'm curious to see what Atlanta can do without Shanahan, but I think the NFC will come down to Green Bay vs. Seattle. both have huge holes along their OL, Rodgers > Wilson, Seattle has the edge on D. but Seattle really only has one solid OL in C Justin Britt and huge troubles on the edges, while GB is set there and "only" had to reshuffle the interior. so it pains me to say, but: NE - GB Last edited on 2017-07-17 13:23:51 by Buddy Ryan |

Reason: The Ravens are one of the few teams in the AFC to have a great defense that is capable of stopping any offense. The Ravens have also beaten the Patriots before in the AFC Championship game (twice). The offense will be able to just get by and the Ravens have never feared the Patriots. The Patriots have always took the Ravens seriously as well. I think the Patriots are beatable. If the Ravens manage to make it to the playoffs they become a different team. A better version. If the Ravens make the playoffs don't count them out. |

I think the Raiders hype comes from them having a solid o-line, strong runnng game, three first round picks at WR, a potential MVP QB, the monster that is Khalil Mack and the theory that players like Carr, Cooper and Mack are young enough that they haven't hit their ceiling yet. Also for the people who thought defence was their weakness they've just had a good D heavy draft.
