Basterds 1) Congratulations you have made the bowl game and gained promotion to Elite league. Knowing you have been promoted where is your main focus right now? Winning the Bowl game or the tough challenge that lies ahead in the Elite league next season? Thanks Mate! I'm really happy I finally made it to the bowl and I just want to enjoy it. Of course I need to think about my future roster in EL and there will be some tough decisions to be made. But for now I want to win the Bowl of course 
2) When the playoff campaign started, did you ever think you would have realistically made it to the bowl game? Well, as I learned in PO everything is possible. So yes - I knew I had a chance to go to the Bowl. Actually the win against thomastem in our first game was some kind of pushing factor as my team proved it could really beat anybody. If it was realistically? No, I don't think so but somebody else needs to prove that... 3) How do you intend to counter against the threat that Deflators pose? Hmm, no idea yet but I think I won't change anything dramatically. Deflators 1) Congratulations on your promotion to the Elite League and getting to the Bowl Game, Knowing you have been promoted where is your main focus right now? Winning the Bowl game or the tough challenge that lies ahead in the Elite league next season? Winning the Bowl game. We already know we're still not where we need to be in order to be competitive against the true Elite-caliber teams. In fact, if anything, next season will mark a transitional phase at best and a mini-rebuilding phase at worst. This game will be the last game for 3 of our 4 starting D-linemen, plus our starting running back. I could've convinced both my running back and one of my D-lineman to stay another season, and possibly would've if we didn't make it this far. But at the cost of $20,000,000 and the fact that I'll just be making up the numbers in Elite, it just wasn't financially sensible. 2) Being in the bowl game, Do you prepare any differently for this tie than you usually would because of the importance of the tie? This time, yes, but that's only because I feel like I can actually win it. Last time I was here, I treated it as just another game knowing at that point I was lucky just to get there and realistically had no chance of winning. 3) You were favourites going into the off season to win the Bowl. What problems are you expecting your opposition to give you? I'm honestly less worried about our opponents and more worried about ourselves. We've spent the majority of both our playoff games playing from behind. Lately we seem to have gotten into the bad habit of letting off the gas pedal a little too early. We got lucky in both instances that we either snapped out of it just in time, or our opponents let us off the hook, or both. This tie is expected to be a well fought matchup, What do you feel you need to do to come out on top? 2)What changes do you feel you need to make in the off season to try and ensure survival?and do you have the patience to see out what will be a difficult season and come back the season after? Well, we are currently looking to replace some important positions, there are some veterans retiring so this final is an intermediate step to see if the new players adapt right to the team feeling. 1.1 It has been a pain in the ass for this team, hope won't be next year. 2) You are returning to the Thunder 1.1 league, Do you feel you are more prepared this time round for the challenge it gives? Yes, it will be my 4th season in charge at 1.1 and I'd say we are one of the surprising team for next season. Our goals are set in playoffs so we'll see. "We didn't really expect it to be one-sided, you know, and it wasn't. Our players all stepped up. We just wanted to get out there, work hard, and do our jobs. We're never really looking to the future. What we're focusing on is right now. It was a hard loss, but we're going to be hitting our off-season training hard. "You know, I can't stress it enough, but our defense and special teams always need work. My 2.2 Bowl victory was against Andore so many seasons ago. Andore had snuck by the LM Pirates to get to the bowl. Will Andore put his big boy pants on and compete in the real league next season?
