Preseson 2018, week 2 in the books: Seems Browns finally found a QB. But whats his name? The Defense surprises positively, the run game sucks, but hey, they've got Jeff-The Specialist-Janis ... and some other Packer's discarded stuff. 2018 seems to become first season since ages the Browns have a realistic chance to win more than 2 games. Browns fans .. uhm .. sympathizers, whats your take on Browns next year's draft spot, another top 5? |

I dont believe a top5 spot in the draft. My guess is they will be around .500 this year. They look good man. 2 good QB's, running game is ok, Landry, gordon, njoku, callaway... Brownies got some playmakers on O that can make shit happen. Only thing that worries me is the depth on the Oline. Starting 5 are solid but what comes behind them....
D looks very good so far. Garret will be the monster everybody expected him to be. Linebacker group has nice depth, even the secondary look good Dorsey did a good job. Shit, I would almost wear a sweater with a collarshirt myself Last edited on 2018-08-27 14:12:44 by ivo17 |

Gotta love the Browns..
End your losingstreak with a tei, a frikking tie. Can you believe that shit? I really liked #4 overall D. Ward with 2 picks and some passes deflected. Even on the AB84 TD he was all over him like a blanket. Looks like a great pick to me. Myles Garret 2 sacks and 2 forced fumbles also great. But on the other hand 2 (stupid) penalties that might have cost them the game. First he got flaged on an incomplete 3th and something for landing on top of big ben (what a bullshit rule) wich gave the steelers a new opertunity and a TD instead of a 3pointer. Then in OT he got flaged for a block in the back (wich was stupid) on the Shobert return wich put them in a long FG spot instead of an attemt from the 15yardline Still dont know what to think about this game. |

Here is an ugly stat:
Since the Browns returned to the NFL, teams with a turnover margin of +5 or better in a game are 132-4-1. The Browns are responsible for two of those losses and the tie. OUCH |

Yeah, with all that said, what's not to love on the Browns?

You got a D but you not got an O. Joe Thomas is a big big loss |
