It's the absolute best! I love when you have an absolute nobody that wows the pre season, everyone drafts him in fantasy, and the guy ends up never playing

Haha

And the guy that play only 1 quarter dominates

Yes but still, in that QB competition, I'm pretty sure that it's all about the sample size. They need to get reps out of Kizer. It's quite obvious now that Osweiler is not fit for Jackson's offense. I guess his quickness (or more accurately lack of quickness) and his handoffs are costing him
It will be interesting to see who starts, but seriously, with a revamped OL and one of the most underrated pair of backs in the league, their job should get easier down the road.

I like when young players get a chance but they really must trust their O line I would have expected another QB to play the first 4 games.

Kizer showed some really good thing in his time in the pre season. His 6-18 completions for 93yards with 1 pick is, according to Nick Shook, "one of the more misleading stat lines you'll see this pre season" wich I agree with. I watched the highlights and saw a lot of dropped passes. And if you can toch it you can catch it.

And if the alternitive is Osweiler, who didnt show a lot, then the choice for Kizer is a good one. Hiw do we dutch say it?

"What is good comes fast"

But there is also a famous commercial from a dutch beer that says: good things come to those who wait

But Kizer it is and it's always way more exciting to have a rookie QB so I am all in for him

that jabrill peppers pick was pretty sweet too. remember everyone pre-draft suggesting he lacks pro ballskills because he didnt have picks in college (while playing 3 positions at once

I hate those kinds of evaluations because it only tells a fraction of the story. We get no insight into his assignments or how teams tried to account for him. Quite a few players get evaluated inaccurately because of 1 variable scouting.

When I saw the highlights in the NFL app I had to laugh. 1 pick (or something like that) and now a very nice one as a rookie.
Off course superfreak Miles Garret is an awesome draftpick, but with the number 1 pick it was as easy as 1+1 to draft him. But I think in overall they have done a better job with peppers because he will (in my eyes) be an impact player on D# as well as a return man.

Still cant believe what the Browns did this draft if you keep in mind what they have done in the past. Off course we have to see how things turn out. Maybe Garret will be a bust, Kizer the next name in the endless QB list that failled, Peppers wont make a pick for the rest of his life and Njoku's ceilling will be much lower then expected.

But for now I think the people of Cleveland can finaly smile when they look at the Browns roster

If you want to start a rookie QB you also want your LT to be Joe Thomas
