Didn't watch the game but it didn't seems to be as bad as last season(s), they seems to be close to a big win.

Kizer:
Pass: 20/30 for 222 yards; 1td; 1int
Rush: 5 for 17; 1td

Good numbers for his first start dispite he got sacked a massive 7 times

The defense looked good and Kizer was decent. Future lookes bright in Cleveland.

I would not get carried away, Pittsburgh was awfully slow today, and incredibly inefficient in the running game. Definitely the trend of improvement we saw last year with Hue Jackson seems to be the same, but I need for this team to start finishing games in order to believe in a possible resurrection

Kizer looked decent, very composed for a rookie making his first career start. Still it was a bad pick he threw and he made the classic rookie mistake of holding on to the ball way too long instead of throwing it away. At least three of the seven sacks could have been avoided that way, and possibly more. Some classic Browns play though: giving up a blocked punt four plays into the new season, Jabrill Peppers whiff on AB's 50-yd gain and Kenny Britt's awful drop late on. Some promise in there but need to get better quickly.

Yes he is a rookie.

Without that awful play they would've possibly won. Browns thing for sure as I understand it (new Browns fan). And in any competitive league claiming moral victory makes you a loser. This is what great teams never accept.

BUT...not a bad start nonetheless for a 1-15 team and for a game they were expected to lose big.

(yes, I know, I just did what I said makes you a loser )
