+1 it must indeed be just a little bit higher than 51.6%
I have put 50 million and in Admiral 1.1, we have just reached 51.6%. I'm supposed to receive 2 million per update: 2x24=48 million just a bit shy to my initial investment.

Yep. Still only at 2 million with 56.6%. So higher than that as well. I'm guessing it will flip to 100% return at 62.5%. 110% return at 75%.

First friendly in the books. Both teams blitzed ~70% out of the 3-4-4 against passing plays. 1 sack for Wildcats, 6 sacks for Raiders. The only difference in tactics being that the Raiders blitzed on runs and the Wildcats did not blitz on runs. We'll have to see after a few more data points, but it really doesn't seem to have anything to do with tactics. That leaves players, but there is really only one place Raider are better, which is speed of MLBs. So best theories are one of these two:

1) LB Speed for Blitzing is an aggregate. So it doesn't matter how fast your OLBs are if your MLBs are slow. My MLBs are 50 INT guys with long reach whose speed is in the low 40s. My OLBs have 50 speed, but the aggregate would then only be ~46 on 3-4-4. This doesn't seem quite right since I haven't been seeing an increase in sacks out of 3-3-5 where the aggregate would be ~48.

2) Blitzing on running downs increases your chance of success on future pass blitzes. This would be pretty dumb, but when you have eliminated the impossible...

Blitzing on running downs didn't seem to have any effect. Putting in fast MLBs rose my sack count from 1 to 2 (all with my OLB)... The Raiders aren't really a good team to test against because the Raider QBs were only sacked 10 times last season. So 2 might actually be significant. I will continue to test with faster MLBs. Will be highlighting a huge bug in the game engine if the OLB blitzing speed is reduced by MLBs.

That low sack life must be tough. My MLB doesn't get as many sacks as my OLBers, but he's just as fast as both and both of my guys are top 5. You might be on to something.

For what it's worth, at least I can brag that one of my losses came to the eventual champion.

Yeah, my issue is that my MLB is super slow, and still gets as many sacks as my super fast OLBs. Another clue that Pete is probably doing something silly in the code like taking an aggregate for speed to determine if a sack is successful rather than using the speed of the LB who actually does the blitz.

Going to be almost as disappointing as Pete's use of QB speed as the primary factor for sack rate if that is really the case. I'll lose a lot of respect for the game. I really don't like games that give you an illusion of strategy. One speed must be used for the calculation. Its just as efficient to use the actual LBs speed as an aggregate.
