The fact is that this new tax rate hurts those with out funds and helps those who have the hoards of cash.

Taxes actually always hurt the poor and it is a fallacy, that some how this will make the game fairer but what this tax rate has done is limit those with out funds the ability to make enough money to compete.

Those who have 500 million or more in funds, already have those funds. Placing this tax has no effect on them at all. They made their money with out having to pay these higher taxes.

Now new players when selling players pay 15% to 50% depending on the formula used. This results in a very unfair playing field as some players where allowed to make hoards of money with out being taxed and now newer players are being denied the opportunity to play under the same rules that they where.

Point 2 newer players are the ones that do most of the trading of players as they upgrade their players. You may trade up 4 or 5 times to have the player that you will use going forward for some time. So this tax kills their ability to do so at affordable rates. While richer teams only look for the elite players.

Remove the tax rate so new players can make the money they need to properly compete.

the tax was put in place to hurt day traders and to remove money out of the game. I do believe it will work in time. With TM resell taxed anywhere form 25-50% in makes a dent.

Just form where i sit. the way it was before. I would buy players i did not need. See if they develop or just to sell few season down the road.
Now with the new tax. There are alot of players i am now avoiding. as resell value is not there. To make up the extra 20% tax

"New Players" are not really hit by this, since they make the money mainly from the stadium - about 100m per season if you have a cheap squad.
The crappy players new managers sell are worth nothing really, so it doesnt matter if you put 5% tax or 50% tax on them. And the few actually good players new player get (draft or getting lucky with youth pulls) - why should they sell them when they could easily be starters for their teams.

If people are now less inclined to get involved in as many transfers as before there will be less competition for players and they will become cheaper, therefore allowing the newer/poorer/worse team managers to upgrade their team for less and become more competitive, faster.

The prices for the very top players will likely not be affected but second tier and lower players should drop in price over time and I personally prefer a game without traders and players just buying to upgrade.

I think traders will still exist but now they will be buying youngsters to train up and make their money over time, for others to buy a few seasons later at a much higher prices. This for more is a lot more acceptable.

It is always the way.

You expect a result that will not occur. These tax rates will hurt the game.

Yes you take a chance on a player and he doesn't work out you trade him off to someone who can use him trading was a huge part of the game and now those with little money are excluded those with the money can go like crazy and it was not money made from trading that created the hoards of cash.

It is making the playoffs. Go to the champion ship of any play off and you get a win fall of 50 million plus make multiple play offs then champ of champ games and you can get an extra 75 million dollars. That is where the hoards of money comes from that they have. Now with an extra 75 million do you think those with the power and money will be effected by this tax. It hurts those trading and building their teams.

Again another rule to protect the top players.

If you honestly believe this i would suggest wait a season or two then take a range of top teams and look at their transfer history, present some figures to back up the argument. I do think it will put rich teams off buying some players that previously they would have bought, this leaves them for newer managers to build their team, i could be wrong though and figures could prove that.

I turned over about a 3rd of my roster so far this season. I didn't make much money, but I needed to cut the fat and move my team in a more focused direction. I know now that the TM doesn't offer the windfall that I could have gotten previously (TBH, I didn't really make much money on the TM in the past either), but it's still the fastest way to acquire talent in line with my goals.

My advice for new teams: 1) develop a focused strategy on player acquisition and development 2) remain, patient.
