I was trying to add a line of the defensive playbook to handle situations when the offense is inside their own 10yds.
I couldn't find a way ... If I set goal-line distance to "<90" it will be processed as "the whole field" but the first ten yards which is the opposite of what I want. The only idea that came to my mind is to put a line "<95" at the bottom while adding "<90" to all other lines above ... and still I cover the yds from 6 to 10, leaving without directives the first 5 yds that is half of my interest zone. Any suggestion is welcome. |

I think you need to put "any" and then define something else using <90 (and put ot over the "any" line). The any line will be your pb on your own 10 yards.

Thanks, "any" should fit well
"any" and "<95" scare me a bit. I'm never sure to cover 100% of situations- I'd prefer to have something like "90 and <99", but if it was not implemented until now, I think it is in a wishlist. Last edited on 2017-04-24 12:47:28 by Yashin |

somehow related to your question and my personal struggles - as my team keeps losing terribly, its time to have a look at the playbook once again (was nice to "ignore" it for a while )
so personally, I would like to see an option which would give me more possibilities and less mess with the lines: right now we can set yards to go, distance to gl and clock (i.a.), but with the limitation of setting it to "<". Why not, especially for distance to gl and clock, an option where we could set it on "between": "S4 pass right if between 45-90"; or "S4 run left if clock is between 7-10". and all other settings/combinations already existing. Anyone else thought of this? Not sure if these ideas has been brought up before, or if they are working with the engine, but I certainly wouldn't mind having them |

I just started digging in the playboork. I notice that it already has a line :
Field goal <50yrds to goal line But lets say its 49yrds. That means its 49 (distance to goalline)+10(endzone)+7(distance center to from where the ball is kicked)= a 66 yard field goal??? Isnt that a bit long? |

No, it's the normal distance.
I don't know about thé NCAA, but in the NFL you'll very rarely see à K kick it from the 49y line. Even more rarely if this K isn't named Sebastian Janikowski. |
