Budapest Wolves @ Preston Plumbers
Budapest Wolves 1) You beat the Wild Thangs in the last round who has one of the best defensive records in the league which you must be happy with, Does that leave you in a good position to play Preston plumbers who have a 91% Chemistry after a coaching change? 2) You have what is one of the biggest games of the season, a conference championship game for a place in the bowl and promotion. Are the nerves kick in at this point and can it effect your game planning? 3) You weren’t necessarily expecting to get past this round but you seem to be in a good position? Preston Plumbers 1) In the last round you said you had given up on the playoffs and not really game planned. With the Win you picked up has that changed your attitude towards this tie against Budapest Wolves? Well in the Divisonal Round I picked a random playbook from my list and threw it in and won, had I gameplanned I probably would have lost!! Fact is last game my OLB stepped up grabbed three Int and a pick 6 and we just won. Gameplanning for the opposition is a risky business because you don't know what they will do. I prefer to throw an offensive plan together and then throw it out there. Impose our strategy on the opposition and let them try and guess it, I won't know what I will pick until the morning of the game, hopefully it works!! 2) You have what is one of the biggest games of the season, a conference championship game for a place in the bowl and promotion. Are you feeling the pressure? The Wolves are a well managed damn good side. I don't expect to win, Elite just ensures I get a high pick the following draft, so if I don't make it then that's the only thing I lose!! No pressure here and nor should there be got any of us. 3) You have had by your own confession a lot of luck this season, Can that continue in the this round? Divers 1) It’s fair to say this is elite matchup, How much of that experience will you have to rely on to get the result you want? 30 year old street walkers have more experience than anyone. We've gone ahead and hired many to give us an experienced advantage over the Flatulators. 2) You have what is one of the biggest games of the season, a conference championship game for a place in the bowl and promotion. Are the nerves kick in at this point and can it affect your game planning? Those street walkers I mentioned earlier have done a wonderful job taking are mind off the stress of this big game. Speaking of big.... 3) You have the 3rd ranking Defence and 1st ranking offence in the conference, how crucial will that team performance be going into the tougher games? Great game Eiskomitee! It sucks to lose from a missed extra point to end a great season, I feel for you.
Congrats also to the Plums. You fought through adversity and tough losses this season to barely squeeze into the playoffs and show them all that as long as you make it you can get hot at the right time and fire your coaching staff and go all of the way! Thunder gets back Jetto and Imgregory and sends a couple of conformists up to Elite. I know Buddy will be so excited!  |
