Some leagues understand the consequences, others don't...

What happens if a team goes bot mid season? They automatically go up to 50 million in pledged contributions, or do they keep the prior pledged amount?

All this only works if the league members are able to do 50% of the budget in the first two weeks. If the investment is late this will not help at all. Pete, the general idea is good. But in detail it is really difficult to achieve. So I agree with your earlier argument, it really is something for the lower leagues to catch up a little faster.

While I agree, I see this also as something managers will adopt to in future seasons. Right now, I'm figuring out how much money we can raise in Fire 1.1. - and at this point, it doesn't seem likely that we reach the 800M and thus probably will not work for us this season. But many Managers said that they will try to have the money available for next season. So maybe this feature just needs a bit more time (as it was quite on a short notice for S26) - especially for 1.1. Leagues - so that Managers can plan for it.

a great answer, and one that shows Pete is interested in the long game - not just the here and now.

We have the same situation at our SeaDevils 1.1. We can come close to 50% but some of us will not have the money available begin of the season. So better to wait and prepare for the season after.

Congrats to Admirals D1...

While other Foristi are still arguing if receiving up to 38% interest on an average investment is worth it, this leagues managers gave it a try and pledged 76% of virtual money at no costs, just to see the outcome...congrats!

"The Owners Board was able to raise fundings of $ 1,220,000,000 and reached 76.3 % of the funding goal."
