It doesn't say so but I think Pete means to say between 25-50 it can vary up to the 70% which is at the top end of that

In Elite it ist currently 950000 payback for 50 million investment at 26.9 %
That does not nearly match the numbers in the manual |

OK, the "around" was added to the manual, and the math was corrected. A wrong if clause caused wrong percentages...
I checked two 2.2 leagues, and they are eligible with a few exceptions for the full return, which should boost their performance very well. I guess we will see higher prices on the transfer market, and still some managers go bankrupt 
The Elite case is now calculating as expected, and you (Orange..) should see a more matching value for the return now |

A question about the following sentence of the manual :
"The earnings will be less the more the difference is between the single pledges of the managers." Option 1: there is a larger income if any team pledges the same amount (e.g. 25 M$). Option 2 : If you reach the same total amount of money but with different quotas (e.g. one team 45 M$, all the others 25 M$ and one team 5 M$), the average revenue is lower than in Option 1 for all teams. Did I correctly understand it ? |

Easier: the average amount pledged is 50m over the league, but one team pledged 10m only...the league reached all goals and receives the full amount of income. You could expect the team paying 10m to get 20% from what the big spenders get (10 million aka 20% of 50 million, yes, you know that, just to make it clear). the "low spender" would not receive these 20%, he would receive maybe 10% of what the big spenders receive..
