Is it the Black Gragons that change their name to the Wolverines whenever they play the Spartans? I've always thought that's a cool tradition those guys have and shouldn't be removed. Makes me want to become the Badgers if i ever get to play against them. But then i don't want to be the weird kid trying to play with the big boys!

I need to check out this forum more often. I would have regretted not having a chance to comment in this thread.
So it appears I have inconvenienced Passionatelad and Captain Jack. My apologies as this was not my intent. Just so I can understand how my team name changes negatively affect you and that this isn't an attempt to dictate conformity to your own team naming ideals please explain how I have affected you. Seriously, I want you both to explain how I have lowered your enjoyment at RZA because I or anyone else has changed the name of their team. If you can't people will see this simply as an attempt to dictate that others have to conform with a few that have a stick up a place it shouldn't be. I don't think there should be a limit on the name changes. My first season in Elite league I changed my teams name to Cannon Fodder.
Also yes, Black Dragons and I do have a little tradition going with his teams name change. Although for today he is changing it to M GO BLUE (he has not had much luck with Michigan Wolverines) GO GREEN!!!!!!!  |

I heard from a confidential source with insight into the team that every time he changes team name his shirt sales go up for a period, when they drop they change name again......

I am nothing if not sympathetic to the feelings of my fellow RZA warriors. They have found my name changes offensive to their sensibilities and I care about their feelings.
Yes the name changes took place after Passionatelad was 1 and done in the playoffs this season. Yes Captain Jack didn't know I changed names this season until Passionatelad posted it. Passionatelad didn't feel good about the changes and or names and Captain may have had a flood of indignant fury from things beyond anyone's control when this thread got legs. Feelings matter and the RZA community should open their arms and remind them that their feelings are more important than any facts or reasonable expectations of others. I will try not to change my team name next season just to show how important your happiness is. RZA tries to be all inclusive. Facebook also is all inclusive and are very concerned about feelings more than facts or data. So my suggestion for RZA, in the spirit of this thread, is to adopt a policy Facebook has to keep all feeling included. Facebook has 58 genders that people can choose from and I suggest RZA bring itself out of the stone age and follow Facebook's example of being sympathetic to those that get offended in life and need RZA as a safe space.
