In, but just can afford 10 M right now

Is it possible to increase pledge after rollover? or after some weeks?

The pledge doesn't count until next year. Anything you put in before the rollover doesn't actually do anything (or get subtracted from your funds). After the roll over, you can continue to make pledges throughout the year, but your return on investment will drop quickly as the year progresses. You could end up taking a lose while everyone else gets a gain. If you pledge money in week five, you will be taking a lose even if everyone else is getting a 20% return.

thanks!

I have received the following message: "Boss, we didn't pledge fully to the Mediacenter and will lose money!"

I think I've read somewhere that just after the rollover the pledge will be deducted automatically from my accounts in one single payment. Is this right?

So I have two options if the abovemention statement is true:

a) I pledge fully and I'll go bankrupt just after the rollover
b) I do not pledge any more money and I will incur in losses next year

Can we make a recap ?
How many did promise to pledge already ?
Who is missing ?

I volunteer to send PMs to those that didn't express themselves.

someone mentioned in another thread somewhere that trust will be needed between players to make a commitment and then hope enough other players join them

the silence from some players concerns me

I will put £5m in initially and if I see enough other players start to join I will then increase to the full £50m

the issues are:
that if you have a 2.x league with bots it's easier for them to get enough pledges and then the gap between them and us will close
If Elite get enough pledges then the gap between us and them will increase

I really hope that we can get enough pledges

Worth noting that there are 0 bots in any of the Admiral 2.x leagues right now.

sorry should have been more accurate - bots and new teams (in first season) will pledge maximum amount

p.s. we're about to flush 4 teams into 2.x

to Yashin for volunteering to contact the other teams. Once again, I will pledge to match any amount up to and including $50M. My team isn't a super rich team, but I would say comfortable with some $ in reserve for rainy days. So to me, this is a great idea to earn some extra $ to spend on my roster and coaches. I have set out to have balance in my team with steady growth. I try to earn around $15M net each season, usually needing one playoff game to achieve this, and still be competitive. I understand all the points of view being expressed and do feel this is a team by team decision. However, if your team is like mine in a comfortable financial situation (say $75M - $500M), I don't know how you couldn't seriously consider getting in on this option. I really hope we can get enough participation to make this work. Good luck to all in the upcoming season.

75K-500K is a pretty big range. I think it should be a no brainer for any team with less than 100K in the bank, but after that you have to start to question where the cut-off for benefit really exists. Only Pete has access to the data to really know. Could be 500K, could be 250K, could more, could be less.
