I doubt I am mistaken in believing that a player with ALL skills better than another should get more sacks when playing against the same set of team. The larger discussion is in the Admirals 1.1 thread, but here is a snippet:

Ware vs Delgado - Ware's skills are significantly higher, and he has more experience. Higher intelligence, higher teamwork, much higher agility. On physicals, Delgado has 0.2 higher in speed and 0.2 higher in strength. I doubt that 0.2 is what is netting 2.5 times as many sacks.

Ware 635 plays, 9 sacks
Delgado 783 plays, 24 sacks

Spain vs Langdon - Again, Spain's skills and agility are almost double Langdon's and he has more experience. Spain is stronger, faster, more intelligent, and has higher teamwork. Spain is better in every single attribute...

Spain 636 plays, 3 sacks
Langdon 829 plays, 22 sacks

Have you taken into account the ability of his DL and the abilities of opposing OL's, TE's, FB's and any other positions that could be affecting sacks as well as O and D formations?

Yes. We did that. Similar formations, same opponents. Just like the LB squad, my DL currently has more experience, higher physicals, and higher skills than his team (in rebuild).

Here is a sample from 9 leagues games we played against the same opponents using pretty much the same formations:

Wellesley
92 blitzes on 318 rushing plays (29%)
170 blitzes on 287 passing plays (59%)
13 sacks against 287 pass plays (8%)

Other team
252 blitzes on 306 rushing plays (82%)
273 blitzes on 313 passing plays (87%)
49 sacks against 313 pass plays (18%)

And again, remember, the starting personnel on my team have skill approximately double the skill ratings of starting personnel on the other team.

So you are saying a less skilled player should on average get more sacks... I apologize for not understanding the logic here.

My involvement in this thread ends therefore.

I assume you are referring to yourself here, when you falsely quoted me? I reinserted the sentence that you plucked two words out of context from. I agree it is pretty annoying when someone takes two words out of a sentence and uses it as a false quote.

I'll PM you, as I don't want to put another teams name on this thread without their permission.
