It is not too early to start discussing and planning participation for Media Center next Season and I am happy to help with the effort. I've enjoyed huge profits in Elite with 97% participation and would love to see thunder out pace other leagues.
Teams in 2.1 and 2.2 should start saving now to get up to the full 50 mil. investment. The returns will put you in a much better position to get better coaches, youth academy, players, etc. If you don't invest then you are at a disadvantage to all of the teams that do so start budgeting to get the 50 mil ready or as close to it as you can. |

I would strongly suggest for everyone to scrap it and donate nothing to it.
It was a disaster this year and for the return a joke if it wasn't for the initial 10 million bonus that was given at the beginning of the year. |

All said and all done I put up 50 million which I could of used for players to improve my team and of course unload players from my team to wash out the costs with a gain or slight loss.
Instead that 50 million went to what and for what I gained a million yes I could of spent it but who knows I may need to put the 50 back in if their is another massive bonus. But with out a bonus there is no way I would put any funds into the media center and would strongly suggest to everyone not to as you could loose a lot of money if the % doesn't get up there |

It is a disadvantage to any team who can not put up the 50 million and still have enough operating capital and for what.
I put in 50 million for 1 million in return, with out a huge bonus for putting funds in it isn't worth it. Think of what you are asking people to do. Save your money, don't take any players to improve your team (so you can win and stay on top) Then put everything you have into the media center ( so you wont have to compete on acquiring the better players that come on the market) and for what a million dollars. I am sorry you can make that up very easily with out tying up your funds. But if you want to hurry up and throw your money into it go ahead It would be hilarious if you ended up loosing money as I think most people would side with me. The return is not worth it and I doubt you will get more in next year as you did this year as a lot of people only put in for the huge bonus. |

I am trying to get you to look at it objectively, it would be hilarious if you lost money investing into it, but I would prefer you to think twice and 3 times, the return is to small and could even be smaller next year. With out a massive bonus again this year it would not be worth it. If there is going to be that massive bonus again, then yes I will put up the 50 million as I would have no choice.

Pete put the bonus in to ensure the feature is utilised and it remains. Rather than your constant negativity over it, you and thunder would benefit from some positivity and promotion of this feature!

Its asinine to spend all your time trying to convince people not to use it, but then due to the mechanics of it you put in anyway. Try promoting it now instead to maximise your benefit

You are saying that Pete is stil giving out the bonuses it is the only reason anyone should put money in if that bonus is still in place then yes I will have to contribute with out the bonus no we should do away with it.
How ever even though I will be putting my funds in I still say the media center is a distraction to the game it does nothing to improve it. In fact look at what you people have been supporting and saying. Tell the new players to save their funds so they can put it in don't worry about building you stadium or team It is all about your greed as you have money to do nothing with The media center should go onto the scrap heap so we can just do what we came here to do build a franchise and play simulated football with eachother. I think you didn't get the intention why Pete implemented this feature. He wanted us to work together if we can reach some level of pledges. If we're working good with each other and there is a level of trust we get some reward with some nice weekly income.
And actually even without this Bonus at the beginning it is a nice income and I just don't get your points why it's not good in general (I agree there might a situation when a manager wants to safe 50 Mio at the start of the season). When you start the game you don't have to pledge because it is paid for you (but you still get the income) so for your stadium it should be built within one season easily. |
