Question 1.
Welcome to Thunder 1.1. How are you finding life amongst the big boys?

Exactly as expected – extremely tough. There is quite a gulf in team strength between leagues so I wasn’t expecting much in the way of game success. I am still very much a student of this game so this is another educational / team building season for me. Hopefully it’s a financial building season also.

Question 2.
TE Lawerence Galvez has been driving fans crazy with his 19 drops on 41 targets. TE Jessy Lacroix however has shown safe hands. Will you drop Galvez from the depth chart and only play 1 TE formations or are you not concerned by this stat?

Galvez is primarily there to block so I am not planning on giving up on him yet. But our recent purchase of Emjaroen Panomyaong should bolster the TE positi

Question 3.
What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game?

At the moment, I think it will come down to whether or not their terrific pass defence can stop our passing game. They are 5-2 against us so I think they may also be a little overconfident. We need to give them a few little surprises.

Question 4.
What was your best buy on the Transfer Market ever?

Adolph Turnbull has proved himself to be a great QB and at $2.5M was worth every dollar.

Question 5.
Related to question 1 but focusing more on the long term, give me the state of your team and what you project it to be over the coming 5 seasons. Will you be a stable Elite team by then?

Right now I believe I have a solid Division 2 team but would be one of the weaker Division 1 teams. I’ve built a good passing attack but Turnbull is ready to retire and I am working on his replacement. There is lots of room for improvement everywhere really so my focus is on gradual improvement in the depth chart for each position.
I am not sure I will be an Elite team but I would like to think that I can hold my own in Division 1 by then. I am still very much learning the best mix of skills for each position so I would hope that I am a better judge of which players I need to improve the squad.

Question 6.
What NFL team do you support in real life and why?

Currently I have an immense admiration for the Patriots and look forward to watching their games on TV. I think I follow individuals more than teams though and over the last 35 years of watching NFL there have been some fantastic awe-inspiring players (and coaches) to watch. Right now it’s Tom -G.O.A.T-, who just doesn’t seem to be getting any older and is still at the top of his game.

Question 1.
You have had an very rough start to the season and are without a win. It's due to a tough schedule but there were two games you thought maybe you would win. Last season you ended with an impressive 6-10 record. What record do expect to finish this season and is relegation a real concern right now?

All of our results have been disappointing. I hope to be able to have a better second half of the season. At this point, maybe 4-12 might be a realistic record, although I would like to do better than that. I am not afraid of relegation because if we have to play a relegation game, I intend to win easily.

Question 2.
You have played 3 QBs this season. Qb Hank Jaynes played most but all have bad completion percentage and low average yards per attempt. It is mostly due to receivers are dropping the ball like their hot coals. Fans are calling into radio phone-ins asking to fire WR coach Nabhani Sotomayor who is 67 already. How do you respond to this?

Our passing is pretty bad, I have been looking at the players, but the coaching would be a better place to look, because these are good players who are underperforming.

Question 3.
What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game?

If we can play to our potential, we will be able to win this game. I think that the defense is the key.

Question 4.
Related to question 1 but focusing more on the long term, give me the state of your team and what you project it to be over the coming 5 seasons.

I expect to be a playoff contender within 5 years. This is a very young team who will get better. By cutting some payroll and making financial improvements, we can get higher quality transfers.

Question 5.
What was your best buy on the Transfer Market ever?

I can't really pin down a best transfer acquisition, maybe the best is in the near future, hopefully.

Question 6.
What NFL team do you support in real life and why?

I support two teams: the Chicago Bears because I grew up in Illinois (I have a dog named Wa l t e r Payton- - for real) and the Indianapolis Colts because I currently live near Indy. Fortunately I can hear either team on the radio or watch either one on local TV.
