Something we are all fully aware of....
Hence the simple, logical fix of removing the unrealistic and overblown impact of massive morale penalties on playoff games. An easy and logical fix - not a perfect one, that would be to devise a Ratings system that is fit for purpose - but it would be a vastly better situation to that which we have now. |

We will see if this goes well. I made some changes, and those changes are active from Season 28 on, obviously. I am still not convinced, however...

What kind of changes did you make Pete? If that's something you're willing to share
What I personally find frustrating is that I am going to play the biggest game my team has played in 25 seasons here, my first ever Elite Divisional Round home game. I feel like my players should be super excited to play the biggest game of their careers but instead their morale is lower than for a normal regular season game. This will quite likely be the very last game of my best ever QB, my best CB and DE and my #2 WR, these guys and I have fought so hard to get this far and now our chances of getting further are severely diminished. |

Without going into real numbers, I changed the level of the Morale hit, based on type of game, and the possible schedule. So, a Supercup PO loss on Monday will influence not influence your league POs on Tuesday in such a harsh way. So the hit is there, and managers doing smart Depth charts will still have adantages...it is just not that harsh.

Quick question regarding the depth chart, if I make a DC with less than 55 players, let's say 40 will only 40 players be affected by the morale loss instead of 55? |

The engine will add players to your set Deptch chart and creates an Ingame depth chart with this. The Morale hit goes to the players on the Ingame Depth chart

That's what I thought, thank you but this also means that the maximum number of players we can "save" from getting the morale hit is 15.

Yes, this is true, and there no plans to change it. The idea is not to provide two rosters, the idea is to save single/a few VIPs from the hit if needed

So much for that I guess now that my team won that game... Watch me play the Bears with 100% morale on Tuesday and lose by 30pts now |
