Lol the Browns are at it again... Picking the one guy who has the highest risk to be a bust - chances are that he will be just as bad as all the qbs cleveland picked before him And why is that? The stats say otherwise (number 1 or 2 in all of the qb stats). Like Schrager said: if Mayfield would be 6ft4" there would be no discussion that he would go number 1 But according to Wikipedia he's a full 3cm shorter than Aaron Rodgers, how will he ever manage?! |

Nobody knows the future success of a QB in the draft.
Team do pick guys because many things, but most of all I guess hope. I think it is clear that not every successful college QB became a successfull NFL QB and obviously there is no formular to predict such development. I did depart of that 'Ha he will fail' and the 'Ha we are saved' dicussions long ago. Wait and see what will happen. My expierence is, that there are a lot of factors which do lead to good QB productions or bad ones. Most of all the human factor, lead by the QB itself, the coaches, the agents, the media and the fans. Interesting first round results, but this can only be judged after 5 to 10 seasons, so ... |

True that. Look at Warner (undrafted) and TB12 (6th round i believe). I think nobody expected them to win a SB. |

I know but we can't wait that long and there is nothing to talk about until September so we can chat shit about draft picks until then for something to do |

But you cant tell I haven't told you
Everyone got his earned and desired QB: The Browns picked like the Browns and got Mayfield, match! The Jets got Darnold, match! The Bills got Allen, hm! And the Cardinals got Rosen, perfect! But the steal of the 1st round, guess who, made the Ravens with pick #32, Lamar and his mom will rock Baltimore City, i tell you. |

Flacco is still just 33 yo, which isn't that old for QBs nowadays.
Hopefully Jackson will get his chance to start, either in Baltimore or somewhere else. |

Flacco lol Flacco isnt the future and done within 3 years at the latest. However, you dont throw in a rookie QB and expect great in NFL. Moreover, Ravens didnt picked him to be nb 1 right away. Lamar is unique and his flaws are coachable. Watch out pre-season |

He hasn't performed since he got paid so to be honest with you I understand what they've done it if he doesn't buck up I can see him getting dropped |

Then in two years he gets to start with an OC who can scheme for his unique skill Set. |
