Just for fun, and contribute to the understanding of the news, I have launched a scrimmage.
Away team was one of my usual offensive PB. Home team was a loopsided PB using only 3 formations with a pass preference. Both team had the same Def PB, that is not supposed to match better one or the other Off PB. Result is a close win 27-21 from away team. One game is not enough to draw conclusions, but I guess the tweak in the engine did not give a huge penalty to loopsided tactics or specific formation. Starting to understand Pete a little bit, I really bet on a minor adjustment that should not change much in the game. |

I did not find this news. Do I understand this right that Pete adapted the system so it will put an advantage if you use a multitude of offensive and eventually defensive tactics ?

A late congrats to the Devon Warriors. His team did very bad things to my team. But good call on my "unpredictable" team. How did I sandwich that horrific performance against the Warriors? With two SC wins against Torchwood Aliens (before) and LM Pirates (after, and with a little help from my MOTY). Go figure |

Hey, guys, do you know Marife-Lacion?.... i gonna tell you something about this team... they start last season, get promotion and they are starting to beat RZA legends !!! Well done, mate  .... and if i'm thinking that i never upset a big team
What's going on Buzi, where is the 70% overall rating team who finish 16-0 a few seasons ago, if i remember well?! |

So the "easy" games in the league have been played. One upset for me. Planned with a win against the Rainbow Warriors. The next ten games will be interesting (DC, East Dillon, Waterboys, Chimera, DC, Devon, Goats, Idrosburghi, Chimera and Sailors). We will give our best and see how many wins we can secure.

What's going on Buzi, where is the 70% overall rating team who finish 16-0 a few seasons ago, if i remember well?! To be honest, i have no idea. Sure this first loss had a huge effect on the morale on my team. Additionally I changed my head coach and this had an even bigger effect in morale. But this is far from describing the problem. I believe the real problem is that I messed with my standard PBS when I was in Elite. In the first half of my third Elite season I did really well. I analyzed the opponents and made new PBs. Then, for whatever reasons, I forgot to put new PBs and I messed up my two standard PBs instead. Probably I wanted to save my successful special PBs in case if a later need. Now I find some plays that are just ludicrous. I get lots of long TDs. My relatively strong defense gets lots of negative tackles but the third down is often a mess and whatever distance the opposite team makes it. The number of ICs thrown has exploded. My super fast QB gets even saCked which had not been happening for almost four seasons in a row. Morale is almost back to 100% now. Maybe my team is able to win today. It would be a nice break. |
