Couldn't agree more - hopefully because of the chance of survival is growing with bots, more have the courage and motivation to hang around

I worry the top-heavy nature of our league is frustrating for the rest of the managers. At the start of the season, you can just about predict the final standings of every division (though there is quite a fight in Pitcairn Bounty's division for a change)
I also think it is detrimental for newer managers because they are being rushed to 1.1 too soon to fill in for Bots. I know I benefited from having about 2 1/4 seasons in 2.1 before coming up to 1.1. For the long-term health of Fire (and other leagues not named Admirals or Dragons), I think it would be better to keep a few Bots in 1.1 and close down one of the 2.x leagues to let one of the 2.x develop some stronger teams. (Though I imagine this is impossible, which is why I don't suggest it) |

yeah, Pete said that restructuring the leagues would mean writing a new game, unfortunately. No idea though, if one league (2.2.) could be closed manually to fill 2.1. with more humans, would be interesting to know.

I didn't feel like posting this in rookie area, because I'm guessing it has been addressed in the past, and I didn't feel like trying to hard to search for the answer.
I thought the factors depending attendance were stadium damage (mine is 100%), PR staff (I have level 20), the league level (obviously I'm in 1.1) and consecutive wins (using league and SC wins, I'm currently on 17-game streak). Does the opponent have any bearing? I ask because I thought I'd be selling games out by now, but somehow, my attendance actually dropped a little today (playing a bot) from my last home league game. Any veterans in the league have any thoughts? thanks |

Is the condition of your stadium at 100%? This could be a factor... (edit: oh...)
It also says in the manual that attendances are affected by your league level. It could be that being in a league one tier below Elite has turned your sellout game into a 139k attendance figure (which is still pretty damn good!) Last edited on 2018-03-24 16:19:01 by Bloodbeak |

Any veterans in the league have any thoughts? thanks You're not guaranteed to get 100% attendance, even on a 10+ games winning streak but it shouldn't be too far off and having looked at your schedule I wonder if your loss against the All-Stars doesn't count as a loss in your last 10 games. This might be something you want to post in the bug forum or in the discussion forum to see if it happened to someone else or if Pete knows about it. Also, there is no difference between 1.1 and Elite when it comes to attendance and all financial calculations, it was one of Pete's mandatory requirements when he created the Elite so the lower level calculation for attendance only applies to teams in 2.x leagues. |
