Two seasons ago I bought a player with 2* experience, until today he already played 4000 league and supercup snaps for me (on normal/MOTY mode) and he still has 2* exp only. What's going on there?

Contact pete. Seems I recall someone having a player issue like that and he had to go in and do a script fix on the player.

Is the player Nadeem Shaheen?
If so he has played 2000 League and Supercup snaps, and 2000 Friendly snaps. I believe it's typically about 2500 'meaningful' snaps per half a star... Last edited on 2018-03-16 13:15:32 by JonnyP |

Yeah, you're right, I'm having a stupid day - the snap counts tally up when you add in the plays he has had at OL.
With 4000 snaps he should have gained 1/2* in my opinion, but I don't know precise numbers. Since Pete adjusted K/P experience, has there been a tweak for all OOP players - I don't remember? |

The guy was playing OL and LB, because the manager tried to "cheat" the experience counting. I got notified about this strange tactic seasons ago. There is nothing wrong if a LB has a few snaps because he helps in OL, but if you create players who are starters for both O and D, they do harm their experience gain this way...

I usually do that with some players who are a little behind in Experience in order for them to be able to catch up. As I "pay" for the extra Experience with extra PC, it did not feel like cheating, but you can definitely see it that way. Do you plan to add the limited Experience gain in the manual? |
