Can't really vote since it's not clear to me what either of these options actually means.

Its really confusing. Pete didn't describe it well at all but a few other members in the forum did. I'm afraid the poor explanation - especially for option B - is influencing the vote.

I like B personally. I think A will de-value older players too much. I also like having some sort of understanding of how much a player wants to be paid or will be paid in the future. With age now a factor into it, I would get super confused.

How would this affect non-HR managers?

If I understand correctly managers using HR will get an extra advantage with this change but I don't think it will have any affect on non-HR managers, did I get this wrong?

That seems a bit unfair to non-HR managers then, especially when keeping things balanced is always one of the first requirements you ask for when we introduce a suggestion.

no, it is not unfair, since the period in question for non-hr managers is the current season, and the mentioned effects in the HR department happen because of multi seasonal contract periods

I will respectfully disagree Pete.

Before the change HR-Managers had an advantage of $X over non-HR managers when talking about multi-season contracts.

This change will make multi-season contracts even more worth it for HR managers while it is not changing anything for non-HR managers ergo the advantage for HR managers is now greater than what it was before this change.

And here we stand, two people, disagreeing, arguments exchanged already. No problem
