An obvious question but; do you have the lounge and pool to help with TC and morale?

I can't help to think the "helpful" manager could be me considering my posts on this thread. I must say, after the PM message I've sent you, I find the provocation quite harsh.

Anyway, good luck for your season and your next game. I am sure if you loose, that will be only because of your close-to-100%-moral and nothing to do with the level of your opponent.

Peace.

The auto option exists already.

It is "deactivating HR". Only 2 simple clicks.

This game does sometimes interfere with RL, but it is worth sacrificing some equally pleasurable sleep time.

Yes I do but the TC is so slow to build.

Yes I have already done that. As I have been playing this game for a while I know my way around it but thanks for your helpful suggestion of not sleeping. I must remember that one!

Very true. Of course TC has nothing to do with wins/losses!

This is a copy from Monarchs forum

Captain Jack wrote:
Thanks Jack6. As you know my complaint is that the firing of players without contracts is too severe. It is justice (I didn't follow the rules - albeit because I was unable to do so at the time) but it is not mercy.

What is worse is that is that it's not just the firing of the players but having to get (in my case) 35 on the TM in the space of 3 days, paying a fortune for them, going over the limit so having to fire some, then starting on low TC which sets you back in competing in games, morale losses due to the high ELO (which is not adjusted for the 'new' team) - and of course the personal loss of players that you have groomed for seasons plus having to create a new team identity with the new players. Then to add to that a few managers chipped in with unhelpful comments when I was making suggestions to help people in the future who might face this same sort of problem.

What did help are the few messages of encouragement from some Monarchs managers and also some from outside Monarchs who have experienced the same problems.

I don't think I can win the division this season or even qualify for the Supercup but hopefully by next season be somewhat back on track. am going to ask Pete to follow up on this.

First of all: of course it is harsh to see half of the team go. Of course is it harsh to buy 35 new players. Of course the hits out of TC and so on are harsh. Of course the changed "real ELO" of the team causes trouble...this is all true.

But: this is a chain of follow-ups, caused by one single mistake: not having your contracts been done.

What we do against this already:

- we did not force you to use the HR Department, and when you switch it on, you receive a warning.
- we allow you to disable the HR if things change in real life

However, you decided to receive the bonus from the HR, and sticked with it.

So we did many things to keep you away from trouble, again:
- we mark such players in your HR department and roster and training page...
- you receive warnings out of the Coaches assistant player would leave your team if you don't do anything
- you received at least 2 PMs before the offseason, containing warnings you would lose players

You still managed to ignore all of these (due whatever reasons). How may I help you? Creating another security net below the existing security net? C'mon! How could I justify such a change against those managers who read warnings, made sure having the contracts set?

I mean, this is a simple game. Nobody loses anything if contracts are not set - just a few players in a freaking game.

A game has to be fair: if one accepts the hassle of doing conracts and receives a reward (saving money) for this, it is OK. But if another one receives reward without having the hassle, it becomes unfair.

Could we start thinking from this side before we judge the inner mechanism of this game, please?

And no, the game did not cause all these actions you complained about. You told the game you dislike continuing your contracts, by not creating new ones. The game acted accordingly.

I know this may sound harsh to you. But please, read twice. I am not here to please a single individual. I am here to provide fun for many individuals. I cannot spoil the fun of many for a single indivudual. At least I don't know how to make it.

Yes, I understand your suggestion was to protect others from this situation. I applaude to you for this, and I am sorry if other managers answered in a less helpful manner. However, I am really unsure if I should fix it. The game is a mix of advantages and disadvantages. If we remove one disadvantage, I would have to kill another advantage as well. If I ignore this rule, this single, this golden rule, I create kind of a unbalanced thing.

Most important: we have this discussion in the global forum, we have another discussion here. I received several PM for this topic, and email as well. From now on I will ignore this post in "Monarchs, the PM, the email. I will focus on the discussion in the global forum, and copied this long post from Monarchs to here. Please, I cannot keep together discussions using different communication ways. I am sorry!

My favourite subject

HR is along with a number of other areas, the reason I am a lurker rather than an active player at the moment weighing up whether to return. There are just far too many parts of the game that are a pain to play.

Its 2018. Intentionally making a game less user-friendly is just bizarre to me.

Contracts remind me of grinding in mobile games where you have to churn through stuff to get coins. There are loads of ways they could be made more user-friendly but hey ho.

Negotiating contracts takes 20 minutes every 3 months. Just saying...

Edit : and RZA’s way of negotiating them is actually more user friendly than in Madden Franchise mode, a very 2018 best seller game.
