Implement an training camp during the off-season where you can do the following:
- train 1 formation which become more effective during that season - train 1 formation to defend which become more effective during that season - faster TC gain for new players - ability to set intensity of the training, high = more results, bigger chance of injuries. low = less results, smaller chance of injuries - BUT above only applies for position groups you have an assistant coach for I just wrote this up after watching Hard Knocks so please feel free to add features or critique the idea  |

I like it, but I think it would be cool if it were more individual, like an individual would benefit from some extra training.

Maybe just leave SG4 off the list of possible formations to train in. "everyone has run enough of it, extra training there would not be effective."

If you have a training camp to train formations, every formation should be able to be trained (offense AND defense). If people trained SG4 a ton, people would counter by training Dime or whatever formation they used to counter SG4. It might actually make it possible for the game to evolve, which would be entertaining.
That would basically be the effect we see. |
