I see nobody mentioned Zati Abdul. Somehow he ended up 3rd on my list. On the upside he is fast. And he is smart. Not a real team player. And he looks more like a CB or SF than an LB. Anyway, this has been my least invested draft ever and it shows.

Now I will have the second last and I am pretty sure, the guy I get will be some dumb sh.. who has the physics of a chess player.

I mentioned in one of my responses that i had him at 12 with Alojzij Tomažic at #11 who got picked by Devon on Day 2. Which in hindsight was fine considering I got an OL player in Day 1, happy with the LB I got.

I think your OL has all the right skills. I put him on my list at #20 because of his TAL 2.5* and because an OL position for my team was not a priority.

I don't even look at Talent to be honest. 2.5* puts him at 43 red cap I think? Thats fine by me. Prevents him from getting too expensive later in his career. I have a few OL players getting pretty old, although not an immediate need. Once hes ready to see the field is right about when I'll have some starters retiring.

2.5 talent = 42.5 My preference is a min of 3* for most defense positions, TE and FB. For OL, WR and RB, I prefer 4* and 5* for QB, especially now with the increased training speed

But this draft

I'm a cheap bastard and I just prefer not to spend money. I'd rather have an army of 40s then a few 48s. The price difference between the two is staggering!

Yeah I adopted this tip from you and i must say it works out very well. I only have two players in the defense which have higher skills.

I think this is a very nice way of building a good team, but at some point you will need to invest more on some key players to make it a great team....

I think this is probably the best way to do it.. overpay some key players in a few positions but otherwise let most cap at around 40-41. Now which players are chosen is up to the manager but i'd probably say QB, DE, CB1 and maybe OTs. Think the rest of the positions are pretty negligible as far as deferences between a 40 and a 50 player.

Unless of course you're gunning for winning Elite. In which case overpay everywhere and hope you actually win otherwise you'll be flat broke.

It should be something to do to avoid going broke cause some teams are always in Elite fighting for the bowl......maybe the key players to overpay maybe something else....some Sea Devils managers might be able to help us with this issue
