more youngster slots in the academy, not more pulls would love that, but why? To make room for the new pull I have to kick promising youngsters. I would love to have more room for the selection process. Maybe the Premium Academy could provide +5 slots or so, but maintain the same number of tickets |

I would love more academy slots especially since the YA scouting information has meant my academy is filled with players I would actually like to develop and keep. I would not be averse to a game development where the YA is the source of more players and the Free Agents were scaled back. From a gameplay perspective I have more invested in my youth in terms of seeing them enter my team. I suppose it's in many respects the way that fans in football have a deeper connection to players that have progressed from their youth setup than transfers in. |

Maybe the Premium Academy could provide +5 slots or so, but maintain the same number of tickets I understand that and sometimes it's hard to kick one or promote one earlier to get that next potential gem (which did turn out to be a bust), so you should have a chat with the main developer and you might be able to work something out. |

I was thinking about this again, and cannot see any downsides of raising the number of YA slots for premium. Did I miss something?

So you have more possibility to discover a gem from the pull source. Remember that the dream of every manager is buying former draftee players with age less than 21 in the TM that normally have an higher quality compared to the ones in the pull. This makes room also for those. Sorry Jonny... Last edited on 2019-03-09 11:05:44 by PJRAVENS |

I was thinking about this again, and cannot see any downsides of raising the number of YA slots for premium. Did I miss something? The plus side is (from my point of view) - raise more players per age level to certain point, like capping or even 20 years old - getting better selection process for those players raised until 20, so overall the quality of senior players from YA should rise The down side is (from my point of view) - decreasing the importance of the draft, since you can raise better players by your own - increasing the number of higher quality players on the market, which leads to even lower prices then today. So the bottom line for me is, each team with premium can very much sustain their team better by their own acadamy and will need less help from the draft and market. |
