Good game! I think we got a bit lucky because you had the ball within our 5 yard line twice but had to settle for a field goal.

I'm very surprised and happy with my passing D! I'm quite happy with my defensive playbook for now. I made a few changes to my offensive playbook to make it more balanced but it didn't work today. I think you were just too strong for me overall!

Until next time

Game week 5!

Before I start my predictions I would like to welcome angryafrican822 to the league! His SE Colts have a bye week so it'll give him a bit more time to implement his ideas before game week 6 when we'll see them in action. Good luck!

Now we're a few games in I think we can start to make a few early play off predictions.

In the AC conference I think the favourites have to be Fredericksburg Comanches. They are 4-0 and have already dispatched the Montreal Dragons and Nashville Renegades comfortably.

The other 4-0 team in AC, Palmas Hunters, are looking good for the AC North but so far they have faced 2 bot teams and a struggling Wolves side so it's difficult to read too much into their perfect start and they'll face another bot team tomorrow which will see them go 5-0. However, next week we see them line up v the Comanches for what could be a preview of the conference game, however, I do think they will struggle against a higher level of opponent.

In the NC things are looking a lot tighter, I also think week 6 could bring us a preview of the conference game with Vicious Attack Dogs v Bluebombs - it'll be a great game to watch! And I do think the conference champion will be from NC East, both teams are just on another level to the rest of the teams in the conference.

The NC North could go either way between the Alligators and Eskimos. Tampa Bay should be able to hold onto top spot in the NC South. However, the NC West could be interesting. The Saints are currently on top and unbeaten after defeating goats in week 3 but in my predictions I felt goats would get stronger as the season goes on so I think they might be able to overtake their divisional rivals and get top spot.

My prediction for the bowl game is Comanches v Dogs!

Onto the weeks predictions:

Nashville Renegades (607) v Budapest Wolves (772)

As predicted last week, Nashville struggled against a very good Dragons team but I feel there is a sleeping giant here as they have a great team and manager and they performed well last season going 11-5. But in order to make the step up I do think they need the stadium investment. However, they are playing away today and I think they will show their potential by easily defeating a Wolves team which is in a sorts of trouble. Manager Janos still hasn't been seen

Prediction: An easy Renegades win

St Neots Saints (618) v Dublin Dragons (514)

Looking at the matchup on paper it should be a win for the Saints: they are higher rated, better historically and in fine form after starting with the perfect season. We talked last week about there pass defense against Spitting Llamas and they didn't disappoint with 3 sacks and 7 picks and this could be key against Dragons who are 4th for sacks allowed this season.

Dragons have been relative solid on defense so far but they didn't manage to score v the Dogs last week so to get anything from this game they will need their OL to give their QB as much space as possible and produce on offense.

Prediction: Dragons offense to struggle and the Saints to go 5-0.

Stocazzo (484) v Montreal Dragons (637)

Dragons were very good last week. I've talked before about their offense and it was it fine form last week after disappointing v Comanches in week 4. Stocazzo is another team I'm not sure what to make of yet. All of their games have been close but they did lose v a bot Bubble Bobble and narrowly edge another bot in week 1 so I'll be interested to see how they perform tomorrow...

Prediction: Dragons offense to overpower for a comfortable win.

Vicious Attack Dogs (599) v Amersfoort Alligators (785)

It's no secret that the Dogs are one of my favourites for the Bowl so I'm sorry Cheesehead but I Dogs will go 5-0 here. Their running D finally put in a solid performance against Dragons last week and I see them going from strength to strength v Alligators' 35% rated rushing.

The Alligators are actually ranked #2 for pass offense so they will try to test the Dogs passing D as much as possible. But the Dogs are #3 for sacks and #3 for picks so I think we'll see a similar masterclass to what we saw v Dragons last week.

Prediction: A comfortable Dogs win.

Good luck!

Yeah my two WR's are legit for sure. Maybe time to work some long throws into the playbook. The dog can't bite if he is not fast enough to catch the WR downfield

Game week 6!

It's a quiet week with only 3 human v human games. Still, as alluded to last week there are some excellent matchups.

Palmas Hunters (620) v Fredericksburg Comanches (580)

Both teams are 5-0 and on paper the Hunters appear stronger overall but the Comanches have only allowed 19 points all season, their defence has been incredible and they were so comfortable in their win over Montreal Dragons.

Both teams are in the top 6 for pass rushing, but neither QB has been sacked so far. Where I think the difference will be is turnovers. Hunters lead the way for defensive turnovers and defensive TDs and the Comanche RBs have a tendancy to drop the ball.

It will be a close one. The numbers say Hunters, but my gut feeling is that Comanches will win.

Prediction: I'm sticking with numbers and going with Hunters for the win.

Vicious Attack Dogs (605) v Bluebombs (590)

There is very little to pick between these two. Bluebombs won this fixture twice last season but the second game was decided by only two points.

Like the teams above, neither side has been sacked, or thrown a pick so far this year. The Dogs have only fumbled it once as well so there are unlikely to be many turnovers.

Really the only difference is that the Dogs have been slightly more productive while passing!

Both have been active in the TM recently so I think the winner will be decided by new additions and debuts.

Prediction: I think the Dogs have bought slight better and they were more impressive v me so I'm going for them!

World Champions (657) v goats (603)

Another tight game, with both of their only losses coming against teams who are 5-0 at the moment.

As above there is very little between the two teams, however, the goats are looking very tired at the moment and I believe this will play into the Champions hands. They narrowly won this game last season and I think they'll win again today.

Prediction: The Champions.

Good luck!

Prediction: World Champions

Great come from behind victory for the Dragons. You represented the division well.

Stick a fork in the Wolves.

I faced a team that has been bot since the beginning of the season, and they were still rated a 71 overall. I'm not sure how their team gets stripped overtime, but as we mentioned before, they need scouting. Never before even when I played seasons ago could a bot team proudly march it up the field for a TD.

I think I just signed the Sean McVay of the RZA world: HC Lucius Robinson

Very expensive though so I hope he's bloody well worth it!

Just checked and I got 210 training points available now
