Is it necessary to create a new playbook here? Or is simply the setting "mainly rush" in Settings?
If you do not like to establish a real new playbook containing all the rush rules, just make sure nothing is overwriting all your "rush only" matchsettings from inside your used playbook.

No, my question was the other way around.

I wanted to leave my playbook as it is and only enable the "rush only" setting. Is that enough?

probably no.

if your playbook contains a "on 1st down pass" rule as example, your matchsettings would be overwritten, and you would commit a loss accroding to the rules Jack6 was posting, probably.

Since you have a supporter, you could just copy a playbook to an empty playbook slot. Then deactivate all rules you cannot use for the Leatherleague, and use this "pass disabled" playbook then in your Leatherleague matchsettings.

Regarding playbook I suggest to do one of those options
- create a new one (if supporter)
- copy an existing one and adapt it (if supporter)
- use games settings only for offense (if non-supporter)

adapting every time the playbook as non-supporter is nonsense, from my point of view.
Adapting a copy of the playbook can happen as Peter did describe it, or you can change the pass-plays to run.
The deactivation might create holes in your playbook, so be carefull with that, changing the pass plays should avoid that.
It's not THAT much work.

Of cause as supporter you could also use the game settings only version, too.
Just keep in mind that game settings AND a playbook will work that way that for each situation a play is found in the playbook, the settings are ignored.
