This past season was the Spartans swan song. Now that it is over for me I am selling all my players so they have a chance to excel with a different team. To quote one of my favorite authors Douglas Adams, "So long and thanks for all the fish"

if I had bet I would have lost a huge amount of money...
Congrats to the winners! I think Wasteland Wolves deserves a mention of honor ... Not a surpsise at all …. he is able to leading a team with only 68% overall against a battleship like leeds (82%) and have the possibility to win till the end.... |

Congratulations to LaSpezia. It is incredible that my defense is not able to stop you even when each of your plays seems to meet a perfect formation. I will see almost each player age 28 and more. I hope they get a better manager than me. |

Not each of the plays, yet the loss is very severe. I really thought you would be off the level 1 picture next season.

Thx PJ, it was an unexpectedly great season for the Wolves, what a bunch of overachievers. I hope we can build on this and become serious contenders in the next few seasons. Also quite sad to see the Spartans go, one of the teams that has been phenomenal for as long as I can remember and even before that. All I can say is: I hope that just like the rest of us quitters, when the itch comes back you will return for one more run. |
