Pete I'm sorry but it is not possible that every time there is a long distance to cover in the third down the next pass is a new first down.
It is a clear bug of the mechanics.
Shure it could be happen once, but why not 6 yrds or 13 yrds or even one yards.
Every time I do two sacks in a row,I know there were two alternative, another sack or a first down or somethimes an incomplete.
I hope you go deeply to this bug.

Now I might be as thick as a whale omelette, but that sounds like three alternatives to me?
I even spelled "thick" wrong on the first go!

I agree it feels like the complete rate on 2nd or 3rd with 15+ yards is much higher, than on a normal pass.

Even more the interception rate seems to be much lower than on any other medium or deep pass.

But I think Pete already confirmed, that there is no difference in the game logic on called medium/deep pass or an automatic long pass after a sack.

It is probably more our expectation to have a big benefit from a sack

I unexpect an interception, but I expet it could be more difficult than it is now to close the down.

Maybe someone like holly would have detailed stats about it. But there must be a lot of factors making your case special. For example we can expect the safeties to be involved in such long passes. If this is confirmed, when I look at your team I see no coaches and no monsters at the position.

At least this in not what costed you the conference game today.

I was doing a very quick (really quick) check in the database, and there are plenty of 4th downs after a "3rd and 10+".

So is it only a personal problem?
If noone apart me feel this problem I'm shut up and go on,but I think it was a bug of the game that happens to many other coaches.

I think the question is mostly for 3rd and 20+.
Just got a 4th down as well in this situation. I would be curious to know the percentage too, and to have a confirmation or not that SF are more involved in this situation than the usual.

Don't think Pete answered this tecnical questions, but I know that the pass is consider a normal pass,no medium no longer.
In the normal pass the offence try to close the down, this is the reason why the play gain the first down by one or two yards.
And no SF are involve becouse it isn't a medium or long pass.

I made an assumption that would help to understand why in your case it happens. As SF is frequently underrated in RZA, it would be logical to see a similar trend on many other teams. I myself give up a lot of first downs on this situation. But I also do not have a SF coach and my SF are far to be good. I do prefer having stronger LB and CB who will be more involved during a game.

Once again, that’s my guess. Maybe I am wrong.

I had a quick look on your game and saw quite a lot of missed tackles from your SF. Also i stand on the fact this 25y pass did not cost you the game. That ugly goalline D against the pass far away from the end zone probably did. This is not the first time you blame the engine after a loss. I think you may want to consider other reasons.
