I'm really surprised that my team managed to win so many games against really tough opponents. Thank you for another great writeup, Rufio
I think that both AC North and AC South feature a wild card team, but nothing is clear yet. Good luck to you all  |

Another great and interesting write up from Rufio. I must say I was surprised to see the Kraken put down the Panthers. They, along with the Gators are two of the teams I fear most. Now after this win and their close game against us I think I'll add a third team to those I fear most!

Two big and meaningful losses today - the Space Kraken and the Florida Gators. Will they both be able to bounce back next week?
The Kraken - Park Owls game should be a corker. It was a 7 pt game last time and the winner of this most likely takes the division. However, the other of the two should safely secure a wild card spot. The Gators - Knights game should be interesting as it is the first of two between these two teams. So once again the divisional title is on the line. If they split the series it is likely that the other will get a wild card spot but if the Gators were to lose both then they could be in trouble. |

Week 14 in the books. The rankings are here! Since you all went blind last rankings from all the hot takes I'll try to stay away from the spice this time.
1. Torchwood Aliens 13-0 - Still the king, just looking forward to the second round of the playoffs now. 2. West Geatish Warriors 13-0 - Geatish hangs on to a close one against the Lions. Two undefeated AC teams to meet for the conference championship? 3. Paxtang Black Panthers 12-1 - Panthers rebound nicely against the Bulls. They've all but clinched the one seed in the NC. The Owls-Panthers match should be a solid one to read. 4. Poznan Knights 12-1 - the division clinching Knights partake in an absolutely crazy game against the rival Gators. Giving them their second division title. It's highly possible they'll face off against the Gators in round one of the playoffs, meaning 3 of the 5 last games against the Gators. 5. Home Malones 11-2 - Malones slowly creeping up the list as the number 2 team in the NC. They won't get a bye due to the difficult division but the Kraken in round 2 can't be happy about that matchup. 6. Burnaby Bruisers 10-3 - Bruisers still humming along. They play the Marauders in 2 weeks which probably gives us our second future playoff preview as they are likely to get the first WC and face off against the Marauders again in round one. 7. Space Kraken 11-2 - The Kraken finally beat the Owls at home clinching the division and the #2 seed. Fun fact, the road team won each of the last 5 games these teams have played. They will not be looking forward to their first game against the Malones and will likely still be looking for their first playoff victory. 8. Bradford Bulls 11-2 - Bulls clinch their division and a first round home game, which will probably be against the division rival Lions. They also close out the season against the Lions. That's our 3rd first round playoff preview! 9. Midnight Marauders 11-2 - Marauders turn over the Kraken in a sound beating and clinch their division. We'll see how well they do in the round one preview against the Bruisers. 10. Park Ridge Owls 9-4 - Owls settle in as the final playoff team in the NC. They beat the Malones last season in a friendly cup, we'll see if they can use that success to advance as a wild card team like they did last season. 11. Florida Gators 8-5 - An incredible finish the the Gators-Knights game really leaves the Gators in a bind. They need to beat either the Aliens, or a rematch against the Knights. If they lose both games, they will finish as the 7 seed and be watching from home. If they can pull it off, they'll likely be rewarded with a 3rd game against the Knights. 12. St. Leo University Lions 9-4 - The lions lost another tough one to Geatish. They'll be the 5 seed pitting them against the division rival Bulls 13. Fehevari Malacok 6-7 - Malacok has pulled out the white flag and is tanking for a better draft pick. A savvy move. 14. Osler Rotties 6-7 - Rotties should follow suit and prepare to add some draft talent to compete in the toughest division in Monarchs. 15. SARMIS 6-7 - SARMIS looking pretty tough to end the season here. Big victory against the Eastern Wolves and a tight loss to the Marauders. 16. birney's weekenders 6-7 - Birney beat Malacok and jumps a couple spots. 17. Eastern Wolves 7-6 - The SARMIS match did not go as well as they had hoped, but this team still shows some promise. 18. Minutemen 5-8 - They keep putting points up against some good teams. This team could be a contender in a couple seasons. 19. Granite State Grey Wolves 9-4 - They finally put up a field goal against the Owls. They are currently the 6 seed in the AC and will make the playoffs if the Gators cant snatch a win from the Aliens or Knights. |

My guys tried their best, regrettably, for as good as the defense played, it just wasn't quite enough. Well played, we are looking forward to our rematch to end the regular season XD  |

Surprisingly (and disappointingly) the Wolves have gone bot - although it's good news for the Gators as that gives them a wild card spot.
