Havertown has beaten Leeds. Munich has beaten Havertown. I still stay with my changed team name but as soon as they have vaccines and we can start returning to a normal life I will change back to my old team name. With some luck, one day we have two Munich teams in Elite.

Thx for the kind words.
It ist a Long way and i dont know if i ever Good enough for Elite.
I am happy if i can be a competive Player.
Personal I think Scorchio and Hopfenperle are the better Rockies so far, but i try my best.

I have been here a long time. The most important detail is to understand this as a game. It should be fun. and it should remain fun, von when your team is not yet where you want it to be.

This is my 5th time in elite. The first time I got so man losses and my team was so bad, I almost gave up. the second time not much different. I used the time there to rejuvenate my team. the fourth time I was in the lead at mid season. to then mess up my PB that got me there and lost every match afterwards. These are moments when you just doubt. And it is then you have to keep it fun. This Elite season is amazing. Today is a decisive match. I still see my team as an outsider as I consider Kanar one of the smartest guys around and one of the best managers. So, if my team loses today, I will still remember my opinion and that will make it bearable. And eventually I learn something.

So, take your time. Try to analyse your opponents. See what your teams strengths and weaknesses are and try to improve. Accept your mistakes. the best is to laugh about them. I have had lots of laughs here. Especially when I spent a ridiculous amount of time analysing an opponent, putting in place a special PB just for this opponent, and then forgetting to activate it.

Buzi you're a stand up guy and one of my favorite managers in this game but i'll never forget how pissed i was when you called my team "misfits"

i scouted your team for hours and couldn't wait to beat your ass

i'm glad you stuck around all this time

Now I created an equally motivated friend in Kanar. Doing a MOTY on him will motivate his every feather to hand me a loss if ever we meet in the playoffs. It seems he is totally opposed in ever using MOTY.

I am very glad you are back with your mystical band of misfits Why do I have to think of Britney Spears now ? Anyway, I better stay up in Elite now to spear you some more hours of scouting ...

I don't even think I wrote misfits on purpose back then. Or I got your name wrong by not checking it enough or my autocorrection did a trick on me as so many times since.

That division is very interesting. I hope nobody will chicken out until you and Hop begin to be competitive.

Week 12 Power Rankings!
Slight modification to the grouping titles to reflect playoff hopes

Favorites for Conference Finals
1. Växjö Gladiators AFC (11-0): No threat to the top spot, yet, but a big showdown with Devon looming that will go a long way to deciding the top 3 spots in the AC playoffs. Even

2. DC Washingtonians (11-0): Handled the toughest part of the schedule and came out undefeated. Would take a significant upset to not finish 16-0. Even

3. Devon Warriors (11-0): Is it possible the three best SD 1 teams are all in the AC? Devon is making a strong case. With the remaining schedule being a brutal four game stretch, Devon could move to the top spot in these rankings and, more importantly possibly the top AC seed, too. +3

4. Schrodingers Cats (10-1): Dominating Marife has the Cats looking like the team to beat in the AC despite the surprising loss to Verona. Can’t wait for the Leeds game. Even

5. Leeds Celtics (9-2): Back on track, but given what the other teams have done, Leeds drops a couple of spots. But with a game against Shrodingers coming up soon (ironically the same day as the Gladiator-Devon game), Jonny can move right back into the top 3, but a loss could knock the Celtics to the 5 seed (What?). -2

Playoff Teams
6. Rainbow Warriors (9-2): Keeping the heat on Leeds for the division title after surviving a close matchup against Glasgow but then blew up Wall Street. Win out, and possibly win the division. +2

7. Idrosburghi Verona (9-2): Able to fend off a feisty Hopfenperlen squad, but that is not a playoff-caliber squad that gave Verona fits. But sandrez rebounded nicely with big wins including the upset over Schrodingers. +3

8. Marife-Lacion (8-3): Not a good showing against the Cats or DCW and then had his hands full with BC Bombers, but make the playoffs and start a whole new season. -3

9. Naprzód Marsz! (8-3): Kept it interesting against DCW and still very much staying on hourt’s tails for the division title, if he can repeat the season opener with another win against the divisional foe. Even

10. Constanta Sailors (7-4): marinarul continues to gain steam and with Skalica leaving the game, this division appears to be wrapped up, but the closer than expected game against SH Cougars and with Bautzen in striking distance, it is not quite a given. Still, time to promote the Sailors up to contenders. +2

11. Wall Street Gunners (8-3): Your NC West division leader, probable NC 4 seed and in a lot of trouble against the 5 seed. Even

Playoff Hopefuls (at least one of the AC squads will make the playoffs)
12. Hopfenperlen (5-6): Do not sleep on this rookie squad, who never goes down easily; solid performance had Verona on the ropes. If he can score an upset or two, could find himself in the playoffs. +6

13. Glasgow Thistles (7-4): Too bad Croxley Crocs went bot before this game; it could have been an interesting match up. Scorchio definitely had a chance to take down the Rainbow Warriors, and that close loss may be what keeps the Thistles out of the playoffs this season. +3

14. Old England Redcoats (5-6): The door opened for a playoff push, but the loss to Hopfenperlen could be the one that shuts it closed. Even

15. Bautzen Greywolves (5-6): The loss to the Rainbow Warriors was much closer than the final score indicated. And then stayed within striking distance of pre-bot Skalica (too bad for Damion, Skalica didn’t leave a few days earlier). Stays in the playoff picture while knocking Havertown out of it. +4

16. mystics (4-7): Another valiant effort by the mystics against a team with superior talent in the loss to Devon and Schrodingers, but not so much against Verona. The two upcoming games with Hopfenperlen could determine who get the second AC wild card. +1

17. BC Bombers (7-4): A bloated 7-4 record courtesy of some easy games, but kept it surprisingly interesting against Marife. There’s enough easy games to get to 10 wins, but to make the playoffs, he will need at least 11, especially if one of those wins happens in the next game against Wall Street. +5

18. Munich Dragons (6-5): Started Havertown’s free fall and kept a good fight with Devon for most of the game. Ignore this squad at your own risk. +5

19. Havertown Junipers (4-7): The Junipers have come back down to Earth after that impressive four game stretch with blowout losses to the Sailors and the surprising loss to the Munich Dragons. This team is in free fall...maybe Worpex needs to take another few weeks off like he did during his team’s hot stretch. That said, a very manageable five games left on the schedule could get Havertown to 9-7 and in the plyaoffs. -6

When's the Draft Start?
20. SH Cougars (3-8): Missed out on a chance to score a marquee win against the Sailors. I’d say start preparing for next season, but that doesn’t seem to be the Cougars’ style. Even

21. Konjarnik HighTowers (4-7): Luckily for ulero, there’s still one more bot on the schedule. The game against Advancetown could be interesting, if you don’t mind watching a couple of the cellar dwellers go at it. Even

22. Advancetown Kookaburras (2-9): Ok, so Skalica still had a good roster left behind, but you have to beat the bots. +2

23. Chicago Cubs (2-9): Three teams go bot, and magically the Cubs climb up three spots in the rankings. +3

I am sad too to see promising teams like Wall Street Gunners, Skalica Eagles, Croxley Crocs leave.
Luckily we have a good group of managers like Old England Redcoats, BC Bombers, Glasgow Thistle, Advancetown Kookaburras, Hopfenperlen, Munich Dragons (the order is random) sharpening their weapons ... whitout mentioning the old guard like Mystics and Junipers ...
