Is there anyone who has ever chosen a 20yo youngster in the youth pull?

Yep, every one I've fired straight away because the exp and the level of training skills isn't high enough for it to be worth it..... until 2 weeks ago, when I pull a 50.6 Strength and what will be a 50 Speed Defender.... but I'm still going to sell him because the exp is only 1.5 and the skills are too low without tons of CEP!
Maybe others get luckier though....

Sure in the past, but now no, it doesn't make sense.
in recent seasons I am creating twenty-year-olds with physical 44-50-44 and 30x3 techniques .. no one caught directly at 20 would reach these statistics, even with bonuses and 50 TW. maybe an "update" is needed?

Yeah I'm always sad when I see a youth pull and it's like 19,20,19,20,20,19 for ages. Just a wasted week when that happens. I only pick 16-18yo, if I see a week where there's nothing in those ages, I'll take one for the cash from the sponsor, then insta-cut.

I had never thought of that before. if there is not someone I would like for my team I would not select, I have been missing out on a lot of cash.
Thanks Gambler

I do occasionally for training stats purpose. Most of the time they are cut a couple of weeks later (when I need the space for a real prospect) and sometime when the INT/physicals are decent, I try to sell them for 5 or 10 grand...

I imagine they serve a purpose for teams stripped of players due to financial crises who just need players to fill a roster and rebuild while staying off the TM.

Thanks a lot for your feedbacks.

To be honest I very seldom picked a 20 yo.
Same reason of Gambler75 and same result of dell_g, namely EXP too low, never over 2*....
I think if you are not in the very begining of your developing phase keep them even if thay have great physical skills doesn't worth...

In S38 I had 36 20yo in my pull over 24x7=168 so like 21.4%,
About 19 yo 33, so anorher 19.6%. (Tot 40%)
I wrote because I was curiuous to know if among the 19/20 yo someone picked a draft caliber player....

Paying 18M per season for a premium YA I would like have in the pull more choises as possibile ... In exchange I would even accept to have less senior tickets...

Yeah if there was an option that said "never see another 20yo", but lose 1 senior ticket per year, I would grab it in a heartbeat.

If you get a really bad run of only "older" choices, there's always the opportunity to hit the TM - though seems relatively few 16-17yo seem to get listed.

I've taken some of them out of the Youth Pull under 4 conditions:

- They have at least one relevant trait for the position I intend to use them
- I've points to spend on him, having other 20 years old guys set for the main team
- They have 45 TW or more
- They have at least a "really Strong" or "superfast" scouting assessment

At age of 24-25 they are ready to have some play time
