I'll still finish last this season as my remaining schedule is tough. But the youth movement is over as they are becoming seasoned veterans.... so I'm hoping next season is my breakout year. |

I think my DB's decided to strike in that game. They must have been wimps and one finger pushed them down as your guys hit them at the line of scrimmage!!! lol

Dumplings big match reviews of 3rd October:
I predicted 5 big matches for this week and 4 of them had a final score within a TD of each other Moustache Men 17:23 Wolflings - Battle of the AC East went to Wolflings who were cruising in Q3 with a 20 point lead. A 14 pt rally by the Moustache Men wasn't enough and now will need to finish the season strong to make a wild card berth in a competitive conference. Xu Da 26:20 Narann - Everyone loves to see a game go to OT except perhaps Narann who were leading by 3:20 at halftime and then watched Xu Da score a FG and 2 TDs in the 4th Quarter (the last TD timed with 52 seconds on the clock) to take the game to OT and then score on their first possession. Deflators 27:24 Wild Thangs - What a game !!! The Wild Things must of thought they had won when they took the lead with a 68 yd pass with less than 5 minutes left. However a 72 yd TD drive scored with 13 seconds left on the clock means that Deflators move to within a game of clinching the AC West. Mantis 28:23 Destroyers - I'm counting this result as an upset. A come from behind win with only 1 minute left on the clock by a Mantis side who needed the win to keep up with the teams in the NC South (which now has 4 teams separated by just 1 game) Alligators 13:43 Dumplings -

I am just as surprised as everyone else in the result! I can bet that if I played the Destroyers in 100 games, I would only win 10 of them. This just happened to be one of that 10%. |

Dumplings big match reviews of 6th October:
Wolflings 33:24 Eskimos - Wolflings keep on rolling and defeat another playoff aspiring team despite being behind at halftime and again midway through the 4th quarter. Getting the ball with 6.32 left in the 4th the Wolflings marched 71 yards down field and sealed the win. Narann 45:7 Bolts - ALERT ALERT ALERT - Dominant Win Recorded 
Narann went on the road and got a fantastic result against a Bolts team that still has designs on the playoffs. The Narann offence put up 45 points and 489 total yards converting 9 of 12 3rd downs and only conceding 7 points and just 35 yards rushing. This result has to make them favourites for the NC South division title. So with 5 games to go the Deflators have a 5 game lead at the top of the AC West and look good to clinch the divisional title (probably the game after next after reviewing their schedule) BIG MATCHES for this upcoming game week: Deflators (9-2) @ Dumplings (11-0) Destroyers (9-2) @ Alligators (8-3) |

Alert is right! Narann has been getting better and better these past few seasons. Seems as if I am getting worse and worse, but I have a feeling that might be our division. All 4 of us are just tough down here, and it takes an almost perfect game to beat each other. One turnover or sack can really turn the game around at any point in any of our games when we play each other.

At least I made it interesting 11 game in, now I will fade into the sunset 🌇 |
