I like this idea. Something about me likes earning "points" or "trophies" etc.

I think it should be for season and X could be both a badge (indicating the season it was earned) and some credits (I can not estimate how many should be in this case).

I DON'T LIKE IT! PEOPLE EARNING STUFF FOR THEIR EFFORTS MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M BEING PUNISHED CUZ OF NO EFFORT!

Can we have a "dunce's hat" badge for the, let's call it "uneducated use of the forum"?

you would have to convince others to like your efforts to show no efforts. And techniclly, this would be an effort, for sure!

Ah, like spending over an hour fashioning a long, poking device to click the TV buttons instead of spending 10 minutes searching for the remote This is what I was made for

He should be rewarded I'm sure it takes away from time that may be spent on game strategy.

I say ca$h. A salary, you could make it an applicable job when they become open for each group.

Thanks again Rufio I enjoy reading everyone of them.

I might be biased since I'm one of those contributing regularly, but I figured I'd chime in and give some perspective.

I don't do it for the recognition or some unknown reward. I do it to engage the community as it should end up in better player retention and more active forums. Also it should increase the desire for players to reach higher goals. "Those rankings are fun, I want to be a part of it."

That being said, It's very time consuming. Just one ranking a week is easily a 3 hour event. There's formatting, research, attempted humor/references, and 32 teams. That's only 5 minutes a team to reach 2.5 hours.

When other managers respond, either playing along or complimenting the piece, it adds to the motivation to keep going. But on weeks there is little interaction I wonder if I wasted 2-3 hours for no one's enjoyment. Some form of system that allows me to know others are enjoying my content even if they don't want to type it in the forum is absolutely welcomed.

So thank you to those that did regularly comment for making the job easier and more fun/rewarding.

Extremely random, but I honestly have a friend who, for a short moment every few minutes, can power a TV remote with his tongue. This is due to him having a thing in his chest which periodically sends out an electrical pulse of some kind to help control his epilepsy. I know this sounds like a joke, but I really have seen him do it!
