First game is done, Dumplings beat Lakers... looks like the key to predictions is 'be flippant'

Move over Buzi

Nowadays I feel more pressure to get the predictions right than the matches. It shows in my three losses and the close match against the Gladiators yesterday. Thank you for seeing me as the clear favorite. I hope you are right, they look pretty awesome to me !

Judo ... I repeatedly heard Judo is kind of a good way to ground your sports career on. (is this even valid English, hope you get what I meant to say)

When I was a kid of 6 years, my parents got me into Judo. While I dropped out fast enough - I got to yellow belt level - it really helped me later on in football (soccer) as you learn how to role off most tackles and falls not to hurt yourself even more. No I don't have the pleasure to play football anymore but I run. As a runner you sometimes trip because of e senseless attack by a not seen uneven part or the roots of a tree. The rolling off is still there and I account Judo for it.

As part of her training Holly has a pull-up bar fitted to a door frame in our house... a few years back (when she was about 12-13) she ran and jumped at from an angle rather than vertically and it came away from the frame, with the momentum of her swing taking her about 2m above our carpet.

She landed flat on her back, instinctively did a judo breakfall as she landed, and her only injury was carpet burns to her elbows!

Yep, knowing how to fall is great.

After this discussion a new avatar is needed, I've not driven my little rally car for 7 years now, so the previous pic was out of date.

I predicted a 0-3 cup record for myself. Thanks to AS Roma Wolves for an exciting matchup, and allowing my 3rd game to be meaningful.
