As for Morgantown, the Mad Dogs will get well and truly catted.

I'm always happy to prove the predictions wrong. Never count a wiley veteran coach out.

However, the games get tougher for me each week, but at least i can be happy for the first week. Fun while it lasted.

Good game Cruel Kings. I knew what to expect from your offense, but i wasn't sure if my shaky secondary was up to the task.

As part of her training Holly has a pull-up bar fitted to a door frame in our house... a few years back (when she was about 12-13) she ran and jumped at from an angle rather than vertically and it came away from the frame, with the momentum of her swing taking her about 2m above our carpet.

She landed flat on her back, instinctively did a judo breakfall as she landed, and her only injury was carpet burns to her elbows!

Yep, knowing how to fall is great.

Funny, the same happened to me. I totally forgot this. Nothing happened to me neither and nobody told a picture of the lot in my face when I was sitting on the floor wondering what just happened.

Torino was the expected tough opponent. He even caused my star RB to fumbl3.

Thanks god, my defense picked off more interceptions than in 8 league matches. Otherwise this could have ended much differently.

Jonny, congratulations on you win. I have the feeling you told Holly about it ... (by the way, cool new avatar)

And a test for you - name the throw I'm doing..

(a clue, it's one of the 1st anyone learns when they start Judo, but I've adapted it slightly)

Finally an interesting match!
I've noticed that your Oline worked much better.
176 good bloks in 70 plays vs 57 good blocks in 81 plays
maybe it is the reason why the QB under pressure launched 4 ints?
nice win!
PS
what kind of German drink did you give the Dline?

Week 1 summary:

Bradford prove real ale is superior to Shandy, beating Berinsfield. Tampa trounced TOOL. Pitzi Beltak fly the flag for the little guys, getting within 2 scores of the Pirates, but the Mambas felt Pete's force...

Werewolves tear Letaidans apart. Bobbers crucify Saints. Bretfeld skin the Panthers, and the Runners show a clean pair of heels to Torino.

Tigers > Leopards and prove they are the toughest of the big cats, while the Mad Dogs unleash rabid fury on Stockholm. Magpies give Gardians an L to go with the missing U, and the Legions of Rome add Germania to their Empire.

Dumplings put Lakers in a stew, and the Blitz fizzle out vs Diorite. My Celtics bleeped the , and the Wolves of Rome got chased away by the pack of Attack Dogs...

Today we try to make up for the defeat against Pete's team. Against the pirates from LuLuBa we have a massive chunk in front of us. I'm afraid the Mambas will need a lot of Hail Marys.

Good game to all
