Whatever the outcome of the predictions, this is a day of celebration. Two more scorigamis are as exciting as can be.

next gameday: 2021-01-12 18:00:00
Away Result Home
AS Roma Wolves vs. Diorite Lions
20-41
1-0
The RZA MATCH OF THE WEEK ended the beautiful streak of the Wolves. The Lions calculated fast that they can afford a 45 point loss Saturday against the Hounds and still be division champion.

BobBoy Magpies vs. Peoples Republic of Yorkshire
41-16
2-0
Magpies keep all options open to win the division with a win on Saturday against the Kids.

BoneCrushers vs. Lyon Eagles
34-32
2-1
What a dramatic match. Crushers move one win ahead of the Eagles for second place but need major luck to make the playoffs. Eagles will now definitely miss the playoffs.

Bradford Bulls vs. Salt City Pirates
6-34
3-1
Pirates move to 16 point advantage for first seeded in the league over DC.

BU Terriers vs. Black Dragons
20-30
4-1
Dumbarajko apparently sent some cases of to the Death Cave. Terriers need a win on Saturday to stay in Elite if the Elephants lose against the Blitz. If Elephants win, they remain.

Chelt Nam Bobbers vs. 16_horsepower
38-10
5-1
Bobbers as good as sure to make at least 3rd place of the conference.

Comeback Kids vs. Catalunya 1714
36-3
6-1
Motivated by the return of their leader the Kids went crazy with joy and keep their pole position for the division title.

DC Washingtonians vs. Valiant Pinoys
20-13
7-1
Not the expected fireworks by DC who fell back to 2nd seed in the NC and the league. It almost looked as if there was a in play.

Deflators vs. Rome Centurions
28-31
8-1
Tough work for the Centurions who beat the Deflators thanks to a late touchdown, 38 seconds before the end, on 4th and goal. Respect, Signore Ostillo !

Dumbarajko Elephants vs. Green Mark Packers
13-23
8-2
Sixth loss in a row for the Elephants and they are still one win and 37 points ahead of the Terriers.

GLADIATORI ROMA vs. Werewolves
24-27
9-2
Congratulations to the Werewolves who will be with us also next season in Elite !

Hell Hounds vs. Willemstad Bridges
20-28
10-2
Hounds fell back to 7th place, one win behind 6th place. Bridges 12 points ahead the Cats for 1st rank in the AC.

Home Malones vs. Social Distance Runners
10-43
10-3
Surprise of the week. Malones and Runners are now confirmed as 5th and 6th place in the NC. This is not totally cleft. In all theory the Malones could score a high win against the Pirates and the Blitz could suffer a tremendous loss by the Elephants but let's stay real.

Leeds Celtics vs. Växjö Gladiators AFC
24-27
11-3
Tough battle with a late decision.

LoneStar Armadillos vs. TigerCats
6-33
12-3
The TiCats move up on the Bridges; Only 12 points behind for homside advantage in a possible conference final.

San Diego Blitz vs. Gardians
44-7
13-3
And with this we have to say goodbye to Drogon.

Match Day 1 11:5
Match Day 2 9:7
Match Day 3 10:4
Match Day 4 11:3
Match Day 5 12:2
Match Day 6 12:2
Match Day 7 9:4
Match Day 8 11:2
Match Day 9 12:2
Match Day 10 11:5
Match Day 11 11:5
Match Day 12 8-8
Match Day 13 13-3
Match Day 14 13-3
Match Day 15 13-3

Last predictions of the regular season :

next gameday: 2021-01-16 18:00:00
Away Result Home
Black Dragons vs. Bradford Bulls
Farewell match of two strong Monarch teams. Both are likely to meet again in the Monarch Bowl of next season. Dragons end they perfect Elite stay with a win.

BU Terriers vs. 16_horsepower
Terriers will do what is necessary to avoid relegation. On the sideline they have screens from the Elephants match. The Terriers don't only need to win, they also need the Elephants to lose in order to make up the one win and 37 point deficit. In the meantime we wish the horses a good stay in league 1. Come back soon.

Chelt Nam Bobbers vs. LoneStar Armadillos
We say bye to the Dillos. Meeting the best offense of the league says something about what to expect.

Comeback Kids vs. BobBoy Magpies
The two best Admiral teams battling it out. Winner takes division title. The loser might miss the playoffs, depending on the Hounds and Crushers.

DC Washingtonians vs. Växjö Gladiators AFC
The Gladiators will show for a last time that they are difficult to beat before heading down to SeaDevils 1.

Green Mark Packers vs. AS Roma Wolves
Both teams will give a review for the likely Admiral Bowl of season 42.

Hell Hounds vs. Diorite Lions
Season finale for the best two Claymore teams. The Lions can afford a 45-0 loss but one point moe and the division title would go to the Hounds. The Hounds need to win in order to make the playoffs. At the same time they need help, ideally from the Kids. They are 1 win and 15 points behind the Magpies.

Lyon Eagles vs. GLADIATORI ROMA
Farewell match fo the Roman team. Last chance for the Eagles to avoid relegation. They need help by the TiCats as the Crushers are 1 win and 27 points ahead of them.

Peoples Republic of Yorkshire vs. Catalunya 1714
P-RoY and Atzucat prepare for the Claymore Bowl 42. Saturday Yorkies should have a last win.

Salt City Pirates vs. Home Malones
Thursday the Malones stunned the Pirates, throwing them out of the SuperCup. The Pirates morale took a dive but the team buns to venge themselves fo this loss.

San Diego Blitz vs. Dumbarajko Elephants
After losing six in a row, the Elephants are still one win and 37 points ahead the Terriers. The team they don't want to meet right now is the Blitz. But it is what it is. I expect a tough and close match.

Social Distance Runners vs. Leeds Celtics
Friendly match between two befriended rivals with no consequence whatsoever besides for the draft order. Good bye to the Celtics who we expect back the for season 43.

TigerCats vs. BoneCrushers
While the TiCats are secure as division winner, the Crushers need to win in order to avoid relegation. If they win big they even have a shot at the playoffs. The TiCats might want to win themselves to move up to first seed in AC. They would have to make up 12 points against the current leader from the Netherlands.

Valiant Pinoys vs. Rome Centurions
The Pinoys will probably go down without a single win. But if they continue their trend from this season, they will be a voce to be reckoned with in the Elite season 43. Today they could spoil the Centurions playoff hopes as the team from Rome needs this win to make the playoffs.

Werewolves vs. Gardians
Good bye Drogon. Good luck in Dragon 1 next season. Werewolves are confirmed to stay so this is another friendly match.

Willemstad Bridges vs. Deflators
And finally we have the last Elite match of the Deflators before heading down to thunder 1 for one season. Bridges can confirm their No.1 place of AC if they keep their 12 point advantage over the TiCats.

Have f.. everyone !

My apologies to everyone expecting power rankings (especially Buzi), but with just one game left in the season I decided to wait until that game is finished to release the final ones.

I will give a brief recap of what's at stake though.

AC-

Bridges and TiCats are in, only 12 points separate them but the Bridges are likely to hang on for the 1 seed.

Lions/Hounds play eachother but the Lions PD is too much to overcome unless a huge blowout. Hounds need a big win regardless to have a shot at the WC.

Rome wins and they are in.

Kids/Magpies winner is in, if the loser is the Kids, they are still likely in. If the Magpies lose it depends on the Hounds or even the BoneCrushers PD (assuming they get wins.).

Bonecrushers win and they get to return to elite, if they lose and the Eagles win while overcoming PD then Eagles stay.

NC-

Malones/Pirates rematch from Thursday's surprise result. Both teams are in, Malones are locked in at the top WC and the Pirates are the current 1. A loss can drop them as far as the 4 though... where they would play the Malones a 4th time.

DC wins to get a bye week.

Bobbers win to keep 3, Blitz keep the 4. The Runners are locked in at 6.

1 race left for relegation - Terriers and Elephants. Blitz v. Elephants and Terriers at 16 horses.

Assuming no upsets, it'll come down to PD, can the Terriers win and overcome a 37 point difference (assuming an Elephant loss?)

Good luck everyone! We'll do an end of season recap to see how many Swayze's everyone received and a playoff prediction to see who's getting a picture of hardware on their profile.

Rufio out!

I'll take the Pick 6 in OT to finally beat Angus. Finishing 8-8 isn't too shabby. plus we're still in the CoC cup so not a bad season at all.

Wow guys, I am still alive .

Let me just recap my third Elite season if you don't mind:

Starting season with expensive team, this time much more balanced then last two tries in Elite.
Season starts with 3-1 only loss to Pirates which was something that you almost must have.
Then first big overtime loss to Drogon. Shocking at that time.
Four wins in a row after that making me 7-2 team sitting on first place on NC South.
And then the gauntlet started with 7 matches against teams with winning record.
Loss to Bobbers by 4 with 2 possessions inside opp 10 in last couple of minutes (first turnover on downs, second interception).
Loss to Runners in OT once again having a first possession in OT
Loss to Packers by 10, but I got 1st & goal on opp 7 with 3 minutes left and 7 points down. Of course interception came on that 1st pass, which gave Packers 3 more points in last second of the game.
Terriers had 100 yards int return TD in last game and today 96 yards kick off return TD and 56 yards punt return TD. That is 21 points that you just got lucky.
My kicker got injured on Wednesday (I believe first time in his carrier) and his replacement missed today an easy one from 34 yards (althought he made one from 48).
BUT THAT 82 yards pass TD MADE ME SO HAPPY
Even I had 9 losses, no one beat me more than 14 points, so I am so glad I am not a team for a blow outs.

So guys you got to hear from me again in season 42.
And once again staying here is primary goal, just like this season.
Because RZA is Elite league, everything else is bot competition.

Cheers guys, after so much losses future still seems to be bright for Elephants

Last result check of the Shula season :

next gameday: 2021-01-16 18:00:00
Away Result Home
Black Dragons vs. Bradford Bulls
24-30
0-1
Two teams who should not have to go down. I have the feeling, you will both be back in season 43.

BU Terriers vs. 16_horsepower
37-19
1-1
Too little too late for the Terriers.

Chelt Nam Bobbers vs. LoneStar Armadillos
34-10
2-1
And with this result the Bobbers managed the highest number of points of all teams : 556. They 73 touchdowns are equally the highest of the league, leading DC and the Bridges by 10.

Comeback Kids vs. BobBoy Magpies
40-34
3-1
What a dramatic match which has both teams making the playoffs.

DC Washingtonians vs. Växjö Gladiators AFC
44-13
4-1
DC with a fine win. Only a single FG moe and they would have made 1st police in the NC.

Green Mark Packers vs. AS Roma Wolves
31-38
5-1
The Wolves ae among the four best teams of the AC - if we only take the second part of the season.

Hell Hounds vs. Diorite Lions
20-17
5-2
A single touchdown more and the hounds would have made the playoffs instead of the Magpies.

Lyon Eagles vs. GLADIATORI ROMA
20-17
6-2
The Eagles would have needed three more touchdowns to stay in Elite.

Peoples Republic of Yorkshire vs. Catalunya 1714
6-26
6-3
An encouraging season finale fo Atzucat.

Salt City Pirates vs. Home Malones
38-20
7-3
In the first half it seemed that the Pirates were kind of upset. Their win made them No. 1 of the league in the regular season.

San Diego Blitz vs. Dumbarajko Elephants
26-17
8-3
Luck was not an Elephant in the second part of the season. Until the moment after the final whistle as they stay in Elite, keeping a 10 advantage over the Terriers.

Social Distance Runners vs. Leeds Celtics
24-20
9-3
This was very close. Celtics dominated and probably would have won, had the game not ended on they last drive.

TigerCats vs. BoneCrushers
31-27
9-4
Another close match and joy and sadness at the same time fo the Crushers. They missed the playoffs but avoided relegation.

Valiant Pinoys vs. Rome Centurions
13-33
10-4
The Centurions finally made it to the playoffs.

Werewolves vs. Gardians
3-52
10-5
Had the Gardians played like today for the entire season, they could even have made the playoffs.

Willemstad Bridges vs. Deflators
27-14
11-5

Match Day 1 11:5
Match Day 2 9:7
Match Day 3 10:4
Match Day 4 11:3
Match Day 5 12:2
Match Day 6 12:2
Match Day 7 9:4
Match Day 8 11:2
Match Day 9 12:2
Match Day 10 11:5
Match Day 11 11:5
Match Day 12 8-8
Match Day 13 13-3
Match Day 14 13-3
Match Day 15 13-3
Match Day 16 11:5

It started with 11-5. It ended the same way.

Thank you for reading and encouraging Rufio and myself to add some material the the Elite forum.

Regular season 41 has come to a close. A couple heartbreaking situations with PD came down to the last minute but this playoff season should be really exciting.

"Looks like DC has quite the grip on the 1 spot and all that's left is the seeding for the NC." And they get the 2 seed.... I guess I'm dumb.

"The AC is still a big pile of everything. 10 teams separated by 2 games with 3 left. It'll be wild until the final week. Rome/Cats/Bridges look good. The rest is up for grabs." At least I got this right, add in the Magpies, Kids, and Lions.

1. (15-1) Salt City Pirates (1) (Projected 13-3)
They used week 17 to overtake DC for the 1 seed and will get a week off to recover from a tough supercup loss. They could face the Malones for the 4th time this season if they can defeat the Blitz. Tough to do better than a 3 loss prediction, but they did.

2. (15-1) DC Washingtonians (2) (Projected 13-3)
It's time for healing in DC with a nice bye week approaching. They'll have the Bobbers storming the capitol if they and the Blitz win their games. Another team exceeding a 3 loss prediction.

3. (12-4) Willemstad Bridges (3) (Projected 12-4)
Bridges get their win and hold on to the 1 seed. The defending champs look to have a little more competition than they did on last season's dominating postseason. My first spot on prediction, triple Turn probably thought I was crazy insulting the defending champs with 4 losses, but maybe they'll like my playoff prediction more?

4. (14-2) San Diego Blitz (4) (Projected 13-3)
Beat the prediction by one and dominated Galaxy again. There's no easy games in the NC, but did the Blitz hope for a different first round opponent? They haven't been able to win a postseason game since season 36 and already lost to the Malones, who are coming off a supercup surprise beating the Pirates.

5. (11-5) Social Distance Runners (8) (Projected 13-3)
Runners haven't lost since their surprise against the Deflators. Apparently Buzi has gotten that discipline trained properly. They'll face the Bobbers in the opening round. Falls short of the prediction but all the records reset in the postseason.

6. (12-4) Home Malones (5) (Projected 9-7)
Depends on which Malones team shows up for the playoffs. They played DC tough, beat the Pirates and Blitz, and got blown out by the Runners. Exceeds the conservative prediction and receives a few Swayzes for the performance.

7. (14-2) Chelt Nam Bobbers (6) (Projected 11-5)
Bobbers snag the 3 and a date with the Runners. Bobbers had the best PD but only beat 1 playoff team all season. Get a win and get rewarded with DC in round two, not much of a reward. I was far to stingy on wins for the Bobbers here, a nice +3 for Mr. Utah.

8. (12-4) TigerCats (9) (Projected 12-4)
Apparently I'm better at guessing top end AC teams? TiCats get a nice comeback victory to re-assert Fire dominance. Is this the scenario they finally topple the Bridges?

9. (11-5) Comeback Kids (12) (Projected 13-3)
Okay maybe I'm not that great at top end AC teams. markupst came back and got an OT victory over the division rival Magpies just so they could play them again in the playoffs. Kids won both regular season games, the first was a blowout and this last one was a wild ending.

10. (10-6) Hell Hounds (7) (Projected 10-6)
"I never have any idea what the Hounds will do." I finally know what they'll do! Break the hearts of all Hounds fans everywhere even with a perfect guess! They couldn't quite make a consecutive postseason appearance. Needing to make up the PD difference they gave up a 4th quarter TD to let the Magpies keep the advantage. A nice season, both the Hounds and Lions represented Claymore well.

11. (11-5) Rome Centurions (10) (Projected 9-7)
Rome gets one more win than I guessed (beating the Bridges most likely) and that gets them extra football. Rome sits in the 5 spot and will play the Lions. These teams have never played eachother before. It's certainly an intriguing matchup.

12. (10-6) Diorite Lions (11) (Projected 9-7)
Lions get one more than I guessed and that also gets them into the playoffs. The Lions dropped into second place, but still hold the PD lead on the other 5 loss teams. It would be an exciting finish if these teams played eachother for the Claymore champ, then played again in the playoffs.

13. (10-6) BobBoy Magpies (13) (Projected 13-3)
They've lost 3 of their last 4. Not a streak you'd like heading into the postseason, which they'll be missing if they don't pick up at least 2 of their next 3 including a rematch against the Kids. I talked these guys up, maybe they'll make me look better after this postseason.

14. (9-7) Bonecrushers (17) (Projected 8-8)
The Bonedomers did it! They rode a late season hot streak and overtook the Eagles to stay in elite. I felt they had a strong team but didn't expect them to play for elite hardware again next season.

15. (9-7) Lyon Eagles (14) (Projected 10-6)
I was off by one, and that one proved pretty important. They'll get a season to regroup in fire before returning in 43.

16. (7-9) Dumbarajko Elephants (15) (Projected 3-13)
"On top of this, the Terriers are surging and have closed the gap to 2 games and looking to make it 1 after they play Saturday." The Elephans breathe a sigh of relief as they barely hold on a return trip to elite. An early surge made a low prediction silly, but a late collapse made it look not completely ridiculous. With another season of experience maybe this team will do some more damage next season.

17. (8-8) Green Mark Packers (16) (Projected 4-12)
"Packers will need some help to pass up 3 teams to grab the 6 spot." They didn't get it, or hold up their end. Still a valiant showing in the second best division far exceeding the prediction.

18. (8-8) Bradford Bulls (19) (Projected 5-11)
"With their inexpensive roster and this success, this team should be back a season from now." A huge part of making Monarchs the new Sea Devils, this team was underrated and dangerous and should be very dangerous in 43.

19. (7-9) Black Dragons (18) (Projected 9-7)
"They'll take a rest and make their first trip to D1 since Elite has existed." An impressive run comes to an end. I'd be shocked if they didn't return after an undefeated D1 run.

20. (7-9) BU Terriers (21) (Projected 10-6)
"I don't see how they make up 5 games with 7 left to play." The crazy bastards almost did it. Falling just 10 points short of returning to elite. They'll dominate Galaxy 1 and return to challenge the Elephants in 43.

21. (6-10) Växjö Gladiators AFC (20) (Projected 6-10)
They hung tough until losing 4 of their last 5. The top teams of Sea Devils decided they'd do no rotating this season. At least I got my prediction right, much to Buzi's chagrin.

22. (7-9) AS Roma Wolves (24) (Projected 7-9)
My prediction looked like a disaster until the Wolves won 6 of their last 7. They'll take that momentum back to D1 Admirals.

23. (6-10) Werewolves (22) (Projected 3-13)
Doubled my prediction and gets to try again next season. Maybe she'll get her Lancelot in season 42?

24. (5-11) Gardians (25) (Projected 4-12)
"The recent Werewolves streak has them 2 games out of a return to Elite." They dominated the Werewolves in week 17, but not quite enough to stick around. They've shown the ability to beat D1, so they'll be back in 43.

25. (4-12) People's Republic of Yorkshire (23) (Projected 6-10)
The Yorkies proved they can hang, lost some tough ones, then played for the draft. They'll have a tough time to stick around in Elite with Hounds, Lions, and Gangsters but I expect them to compete with this team for many seasons.

26. (5-11) GLADIATORI ROMA (27) (Projected 5-11)
Another right on target. A solid showing and some nice wins. They'll certainly be more prepared come season 43.

27. (2-14) Leeds Celtics (26) (Projected 6-10)
A lot of close losses here, I don't feel so bad about my prediction being off. I expect a season 43 return.

28. (4-12) Deflators (28) (Projected 6-10)
I was a little generous here, a couple promising wins but the top tier in Thunder one is pretty solid. They'll have quite the challenge to return.

29. (3-13) Catalunya 1714 (29) (Projected 3-13)
A correct guess, but I wouldn't have guessed Quim wouldn't log in for the final 3 weeks. Here's hoping they get back quickly.

30. (1-15) LoneStar Armadillos (30) (Projected 9-7)
Not sure I could have been much more wrong in this projection. Someone should revoke my media badge.

31. (1-15) 16_horsepower (31) (Projected 2-14)
Only off by 1, but too bad I've already been fired.

32. (0-16) Valiant Pinoys (32) (Projected 0-16)
Balbinjj took some time off but finally logged in so we get another round of Filipinofacts! Basketball is the most popular sport and the Philippines were the first tropical nation to try their hand at the Winter Olympics.

Good luck to the playoff teams! Good luck getting back to all relegated teams! I'll write up my sure to be wrong playoff picks tomorrow.
