Thank you to all my colleagues in AC East for making it such a fantastic season and a crazy final day.
I'm so glad that I survived and made it to play in Elite next season (by a PD of 5 !!!) Unlucky for Centurions and Juggernauts who played their part with an overtime game but my unbelievable win over the Bridges did enough. My starting QB and 6 other senior players are retiring so next years Elite team will be more youthful. |

Funny how I'm in the wrong here and I'm made out to be the bad manager.
Says a lot about some of you.. Real honest sportsman here. FROM THE RULE BOOK: Tanking, the definition: throwing away games, losing on purpose. Why should someone do this? Oh, there are many reasons. One reason might be just to have a better draft pick, by picking earlier. Why is it bad for the game? It causes strange gameplay, and is discouraging managers. And after all: one draft spot higher or lower won't make the big difference. I am sorry for the experience, since you expected more from a gameday. At the same time I fully understand the decision made by the other manager. |

I would like to share some thoughts about this relax mode issue involving some of my Dragons region fellows...
The relax mode is a feature of the game and usually there is no problem using it. I have played many times on relax mode against bots on SC and even against some weak opponents of lower divisions. It helps to rest some players specially after a MOTY game. I do this almost every season depending on my league and SC schedules. Unfortunately, this feature may be used whenever a manager decides this is helpful for his/hers intentions. It is not illegal. But, in some situations, it is not ethical. I can understand the complain about it and agree that it should not happen again without any kind of punishment. But I can also understand the reason behind the decision of playing relaxed as it is not forbidden by the game rules. Both are right in their point of view. And nothing could be done under the rules we have. I think we should discuss on another forum about ideas to limit or punish such actions without banning the relax mode feature. Maybe limiting the usage of it just like the MOTY. Or apply some penalty, financial or not, for clear tanking actions. Maybe a way to inform against the anti-competitive use of it. Just ideas. Please people, stay calm and try to understand each other. No reason for argues in RZA.
