Big matchup tomorrow against our bitter rival bobloblaw and his vicious Mongolian Prairie Weasels. They've knocked Tool out of the playoffs the last two seasons and this could be a preview of another post season slobber knocker on the horizon. Good luck tomorrow, sir!

Starting since Season 36, Tool has played the Philadelphia Eagles five times. Their GM PhillyEagles has won EVERY TIME. I'm hoping to finally get out from underneath the shadow being cast by these winged predators. Would be a great morale boost heading further into Season 42.

Good game, PhillyEagles. We found ourselves down by 7 with less than 5 minutes to go and converted on a 3rd and 28 with a pass to the TE. Figured the football gods were on our side, but then we kicked a field goal with 2 minutes left on the 12 yard line on a 4th and 1. Football gods don't respect fools. Will need to revisit the ol playbook, methinks. Good luck the rest of the season, maybe see you again down the road in the playoffs! |

A couple good league games against giorgio's 16-horsepower and BAC76's New York Athletic Club these last couple weeks. Now onto Botsville for a game or two, then we shall be forced into submission by the undefeated BU Terriers.
In positive news, 10-1 Tool has finally managed to crack the top 100 in the ELO rankings! I've been waiting for this moment for awhile now, and realized how slow the going can be when playing against bots. But that just makes it all the sweeter. We also moved into 5th in ELO ranking in the Galaxy League after passing up the rebuilding Saffron City Psychics. Next up in those rankings is the prestigious 16-horsepower who hold a 25 point lead ahead of Tool. We won't catch them this season, but it's a worthy goal against a formidable opponent sitting at 91st overall, and 4th in the league. Gotta win a couple post season games if Tool hopes to make any kind of run up the list before the start of Season 43! |

Good game, PhillyEagles! Had a little bit of everything in this one. When the Eagles ran back a punt for 80 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter, I didn't feel too good about Tool's chances, but the offense rallied and our defense shined with 4 interceptions and 7 sacks.
Now onto the Bowl- and our first appearance in Elite! |
