So fellas, gameday 2 has ended.
In Group 1, The Guardians won against the Constanta Ravens and went 2-0 and are the favorites to win the group. The Enschede Eagles put up a fight and won against the HAMBURG SEA LIONS, with both teams having a record of 1-1. In Group 2, The Constanta Sailors won against the Doves, and went 2-0 and are the favorites to win the group. The Dnipros Dendroids won against the Brazilian Pumas, improving their record to 1-1 and eliminating the Brazilian Pumas from the World Bowl II. I'm still mad that this one INT in the fourth quarter cost my team the win
But you and the Pumas are not completely out of it, it's theoretically possible to advance still... the chances are better for the Pumas, though  Last edited on 2023-01-12 07:58:48 by Chrill |

We were in the lead, almost the whole game and at the end the score was equal. And I had a chance in OT but my K missed the game winning FG and the game was history, but it was a heck of a game and i loved it. Thank you for the vote of confidence, but my chances of advancing to the KO round are slim to none. I don't have anything in my advantage, not ever the PD. I would have to win against the Enschede Eagles, by a very high score and for one of you two to lose pretty high in your game. And i don't believe that is possible. But the Brazilian Pumas, are officialy eliminated with 0-2. Check again |

It sure didn't help that my squad was unable to create turnovers themselves... Kudos and congrats to the Guardians for a great defensive performance. Today was the end of the group stage.
A very special thank you to the 3 teams that didn't make it past the group stages: Dwimmerlaik with the Brazilian Pumas, foxspor54 with the Doves & Chrill with the HAMBURG SEA LIONS, i hope you had fun & thank you for participating. Congratulation to the remaining 4 team that made it in the KO round: Uaschitschun with the Guardians, marinarul10 with the Constanta Sailors, Regulus with the Enschede Eagles & HoodKostas with the Dnipros Dendroids and the best of luck in the semi-finals. And here is our final.
In the first game of the day, after a very hard fought game, Uaschitschun and the Guardians managed to seal the win in OT against HoodKostas and the Dnipros Dendroids In the second game of the day, Marinarul10 and the Constanta Sailors had an amazing game against Regulus and the Enschede Eagles winning by a very large margin. I want to thank HoodKostas and the Dnipros Dendroids & Regulus and the Enschede Eagles for their participation and hoped you had fun. Congrats to Uaschitschun and the Guardians & Marinarul10 and the Constanta Sailors for making it to the final and may the best one win.
