This is in the manual, but I had never had this happen to me before. I thought I would share to make everyone who doesn't know this more aware. This last Training update, I had this LB rise to a 4 star rating: Bill Swisher Yesterday, I realized he had gone back to 3.5 stars. I am pretty sure it is due to a slight decrease in physical condition. Maybe this has happened to me before and I did not notice, but lesson learned. Even a small decrease in physical conditioning appears to be able to have an impact on rating. Again, this is in the manual, but I guess I never really paid attention until now. the pass goes inner right to the receiver, who catches the ball, Robin Erickson (TE/R) sees no OLBs, there is no SS who could tackle him, finally he gets tackled by Steven Lindley (FS/C), forward progress: 3 yards I guess he didn't see that tall blade of grass and stumbled around till Steven Lindly came, stumbled on a tall blade of grass and knocked him over... 🤣🤣💪🍻🍻 |

Today's matchups have huge implications for the playoffs. And we have a couple of great matchups that are my candidates for Fire League Game of the Day. Something I made up about 15 minutes ago.
AC East the 2-0 Ions take on the 1-1 Braska Bangers 09. The Bangers are coming off a statement win over the Towncars and are looking to draw even with the Ions for first place. Meanwhile, newcomer 1-1 TR will travel to battle the Tennessee Frontiersmen and Negbone get a bot game. AC North Look for the 2-0 Champ Chompers can extend their divisional lead over the 1-1 Wookies today. The winless Aberthaw Dolphins try and turn things around as they take on newcomer Yuta Amano. AC South Every team in the division is knotted up at 1-1. The STEELERS are traveling to bang heads with the Bonaval Acorns in the Fire League Spanish Cup. This one is a toss up and a candidate for Fire League Game of the Day (totally made up). Dolphins Pisa takes on Liz Biz and the decimated roaster for Towncars looks to bounce back in a game against Neroverde. I expect everything will stay knotted up in this division. AC West Big game today!!! The number 2 Panthers take on the number 1 Mustangs. I will get to hot takes in a moment, but this game is HUGE! The teams are in different conferences, but someone is going to lose today and their record will end with 1. The 1-1 Poruba Saints will take on the Rome Gladiators and Schonspieler has a bot game. NC East The undefeated Frontiersmen take on newcomer TR while second place Chattanooga Express will travel to play Neroverde. I don't expect this division to look much different after today. NC North As stated, The Bonaval Acorns play for the Fire League Championship of Spain today. The 2-0 Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers will play host to the hapless Niceville Norsemen and the 1-1 Liz Biz is hosting the Dolphins Pisa. NC South This is a pretty competitive bunch, save one team. The 2-0 Gladiatori Roma host the Poruba Saints while the equally as undefeated Bleak Reapers have a bot game. As mentioned, the Mustangs have a date with destiny today as they take on the Panthers and winless Norsemen drag their sorry butts to play the Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers. NC West A couple of interdivisional games, The Stormtroopers have not yet gone bot as they play host to the winless Dallas Renegades. Undefeated Gangsta Guns draws a bot game today. Hot Takes STEELERS vs. Bonaval Acorns 
This is a special game as both teams are the only Spanish teams in our league at the moment. Both teams are always solid competidores! It's a difficult game to pick, but I have to go with the STEELERS on this one. They have improved season after season and look to be a strong team in the playoffs this season. They have a legitimate shot at the divisional title this season. This would be my Fire League Game of the Day, but .... Panthers vs. Mustangs
The game between the Panthers and Mustangs today comes down to sheer power. As the only poor sucker here to have played both teams this season, I feel like an upset is on the way. The Panthers have not been in Elite league since Season 45, but all that appears to be changing right now as they steam towards the playoffs. The Mustangs are not a team to take lightly, but I just feel like the Panthers are the more capable of the two. Regardless, this game is my choice for Fire League Game of the Week. Should be a great one! One last Hot Take with no bias at all. 
The Norsemen have won the last four meetings with the Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers. The Mutineers always bring the heat season after season and the Norsemen have had a real rough go of it the first couple of matchups, taking a beating from the Panthers and losing a nail biter to the Mustangs. This Tuesday's games won't include any showstoppers, but a couple will start to sort out divisional pecking orders. The red hot Mustangs had a statement game against the Panthers and there is no doubt in my mind that they are the hottest team in Fire at the moment. With all that said, let's take a look and see how the divisional races are shaping up as we are already closing in on 25% of the season being in the books.
AC East With three teams sitting at 2-1, there is no clear leader in this division yet. The Braska Bangers 09 got the win they needed against the IONS to pull even and I expect to see them set the pace going forward. This week they play Negbone while the IONS will face newcomer TR.
AC North The Wookies and Dolphins play each other this week in a must win game to keep the Champ Chompers within reach. The still undefeated Chompers are at home against newcomer Yuta Amano. The Chompers are running away with this one. AC South Three teams are knotted up in first place in the AC South. The 2-1 Towncars take a break this week in the first round of byes. The 2-1 STEELERS are host to Liz Biz while the Dolphins Pisa draw the Panthers, who are looking for a rebound game. This could be all STEELERS come Wednesday! 
AC West This division is likely already out of reach for any team other than the Panthers. There are a couple of new managers int his division and I hope they stick around, but until their rosters mature and they get a handle on the game, they won't be much of a match for the Panthers. Schonspieler appears to only be interested in making money. But, they contribute to the MediaCenter every season, so they get a huge thumbs up from me!

NC North The 2-1 Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers look to rebound against divisional rival 2-1 Bonaval Acorns who are also looking to set a more positive course after being demolished by the STEELERS last round. This is a must win game for both clubs if they want to make the playoffs in a crowded NC conference. NC South 3-0 Gladiatori Roma is host to the Stuttgart Stormtroopers who have yet to go bot. The Mustangs take the day off while the 1-2 Niceville Norsemen travel to the Reaper Bowl to take on the newest member of the division, and the team that I think has the coolest logo in RZA right now, the 3-0 Bleak Reapers. NC West Gangsta Guns sits at 3-0 and wins this division by default. The 0-3 Renegades won't have the roster to really compete this season and the Stormtroopers are going bot. The Guns can afford to focus on developing their own roster and preparing for the league playoffs. HOT TAKES Ok, I totally wiffed on the Mustangs and Panthers game! The Mustangs came out and straight took care of business. That's bad news for yours truly as I sit two games out of first place and have already played the Mustangs once. The Gladiatori Roma have to be concerned as well. Even though they are undefeated, that have still two games to play against the Mustangs and two against the Norsemen. Every game in this division is going to be huge.
The Bonaval Acorns vs. Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers is a game to keep your eye on. This may be for the division and we aren't even 4 games in! The Mutineers have had a lock on this division since Season 44. Could this be the season that the Acorns take control? 
Just a parting thought... The only sure way to make the playoffs this season is to win your division. If you don't win your division, you may be facing an uphill battle. There will be a few really good teams that do not make the playoffs.  |

There will be a few really good teams that do not make the playoffs.  in the West- but the Guns are NOT going to look to far ahead. tough games are on the way. we have a no show this round and hope the friendly will keep us in form- - on the Bleak Reapers - i started to bring him along with the game, he made his team on the what do I do, where do I see that. so a help to a rookie manager went good- { I got him to change League} - logo is very striking.. I hope more human players add to this thread- it is a great way of seeing the { my team as others see them} news |
