I had forgotten to take care of it. It was that simple. Not saying this is the same situation as with your teams, but sometimes such mistakes just happen. I understand your point pete. And that is why I ask for help. To understand what goes wrong with my team. You are correct, one thing changed in my team. I recruited some vets in order to add depth and skills in the roster. The Vets were better (rating, XP, skills & physicals) than the plyaers I already had and I made sure they were sharing snaps so the overall tiredness of the team did not increase at the end of the games. After these moves, my team rating went from 87 to 90. It has been pointed out to me that my players lack agility. I can agree to that, but it has always been the case. I understand that you want to keep some mechanics of the game secrets. Your game, your rules anyway. But that's also a source of frustration (at least for me), and as you know, I already have plenty of it IRL. |

I didnt even understand for myself what I would have to explain to help you out with the situation. There are not so many secrets at all. Basically, the only secret that is kept a secret is the exact set of skills needed for a certain situation and player. |

Even with added depth, my guess is the PC hit vet's take not only limit the time they are on the field but seems to depress their performance as well. So while you have a nice shiny team rating of 90%, the PC hit working in the background diminishes the returns. This is just a guess. I know I intend to to let nearly all of my 30 year olds walk at the end of the season. Anyway, it has always been fun (an usually frustrating) playing against your Ducks. All the best to you |

Meanwhile todays friendly game vs basically identical team
I was relaxed and they were normal. It was a win for me and my 20mins of possession. Another believable RZA outcome! Well done pete!  |

Sorry mate,
I know that topic of this tread was about you, but many of us can at least continue... I meet 3 out of 4 times in SCPO with same opponent. It isn't so big trouble to loose the game, but when is clueless... Even as younger team I have yards on my side, today equal, 3rd or 4rh down aren't the reason. He has older players so different of 5 point are questionable, opposite of your example, plus I miss at least point from K/P which didn't f... up anything today. And there are so many other factors which aren't the reason. I think that nobody can answer to you (Pete at this point this isn't really about you). There are also some managers from previous leagues against I was almost sure that I will win. At some points that is like boost, but as older manager you are that is more annoying. My only answer is that engine decide winner (as per it is) before game starts and that score difference isn't every or most time realistic. I'm not player that will play just to do it and wait that unknown will turn on my side? Will try to dig it as much as I can, but clueless is pretty much annoying. |
