Ludovic Colas, who is not in the depth chart, played one snap in those games:
101115937 101119264 He is OL but on those positions I have one or two back ups who should take over if needed. There are first stringers that should stay on the field expect in case of injuries and anyway there were none today on the Ol. Could it be a bug? |

If you don't have all 55 spots in the depth chart, there is a possibiliy that the "system" picks some from your roster. |

To be precise, if I remember correctly, if you have less than 55 on the depth chart the engine fills this chart up prio the game with players suitable for the positions.
So you always go to a game with 55 players and of such those last minute additions are sorted in and then become an option to play once such a backup is needed on the field based on your setup. |

OK Understood. I always thought that those "last minute" additions would enter on the field only if there was no other option in the DC.
Yet how to explain he played one snap while none of my OL got injured? |

I had something similar when a player an a totally different position became injured and I was short of somebody to replafce him. A Lineman was put in there, resulting in a miss on OL. Took me a while to figure out.
