Congratulation on the win, torakrid.
I think this is the most frustrating season I ever had with RZA, because with no real reason whenever something can go wrong in a game, which is at that time not really helpful, it does go wrong. Sure, changing coaches and having several less EXP players taking over does not help much, but several positions are still stuffed with veterans and they just suck big time in every game.

The HAMBURG SEA LIONS start a crucial stretch on their schedule today. The next three games will tell a lot about what the "Big Hairy Fish" can accomplish this season, as we face the leaders of the NC-divisions South, West and North... all of which happen to be RZA royalty, too.
Today the San Diego Blitz comes to town. Not sure how and why, but we were able to win both match-ups in the Elite we had the last two seasons since we joined the league. We'd not be mad if we win again today, of course, but this lucky streak is due to break. Maybe home advantage will work it's magic again, though 
Scheduled after that is our regular visit at the Chelt Nam Bobbers. We split the record in the last two season, but have always lost the game on the road. To keep playoff hopes alive we need to get at least one win against them, and to steal this one would be neat. And then... we go to space to visit the Kraken. We met them only once in our very first season in the Elite. We scored 10 points in the first quarter. After that we were allowed to get only 7 First Downs for the rest of the game. They seem a bit more vulnerable these days, though, so maybe we get one or two First Downs more this time. But for now we concentrate on the game we have today, which will be tough enough. The home crowd is already at the stadium, trying to intimidate the visitors. We'll see if it'll work against this experienced squad. Congrats, @Solana_Steve!
Damn, that one hurts. The Bobbers lost to Melittlemen (Congrats to you, too, @Ray ), we would have been able to catch up before playing them on Tuesday. And we dropped from Seed #5 to Seed #6, with only one game above the Elephants and Raspberry Bush.
Let's hope we can keep this on-the-road-vest clean in the next two games |
