Is it okay to.have an offensive center with the trait Stone Wall? Or is that a waste? Its supposed to help "not being beat by the defensive line." Does that include Center versus Nose Tackles? Thanks!

In RZA theory traits are supposed to assist with positional performance and that trait would in RZA theory benefit any OL position. Center included.

Stone wall gives a 5% bonus to not being beaten by the D-Line

Traits give an extra 5%, but they don't do miracles.
If the player has the skill at 33.28, the trait gives them 34.94.
At elite levels a player with trait is decisive, not only because of the skill increase but also because of the salary.

Do you folks think a Strength of 47 is too low for an offensive lineman? Though he does have a 48 Teamwork. I still wonder if he'll be pushed around a bit, or maybe will hurt me in situations where I need a successful run of 1 or 2 yards? Just curious what others think. Thanks!

A 47 strength is good, not great, but good and that TW is pure gold.
The higher the Strength, the better the player. The same goes for the skills set.
If you think you will get him to top talent at a good age (say 26,27), you can over train that strength higher, but it will take at least 2-3 seasons to get him to 50, or if you have time adjusting when to give the next contract, you can even train that Strength in that time.

It is worth thinking that in two A importance areas, this player scores 95 out of 100 so yes 100 would be better, but there aren't that many players out there with that combination. Also you have to consider Blocking and Positioning and Footwork and so on. Is 100 in those two areas and 35 each in the others as as good as 42 across the 5 traits, who knows? You have to consider the whole set of skills. Jack6 blog on training for positions is excellent.

The first question you should ask yourself on a player is always: ‚do I have an alternative?‘

Because for sure you want str 50, but do you have such a guy in reach right now?

The rest is just whether you do look for alternatives, or not.

He's 27 and I have his Blk, Pos, Vis and Footwork all the way up to the max at 45.5. He also has Pass Blocker and Stone Wall as traits, along with his 47 Strength and 42.4 Speed. Which all and all is a pretty damn good player. But the problem is when I look at my offensive linemen's season stats, he has one of the lowest success rates and one of the higher amount of missed blocks out of my linemen. So I begun wondering if his 47 Strength was the problem?

I currently have him as center, due to his 50 Teamwork.
