During Friendly game I.D. 101256358 at the 2:46 mark of the first quarter, my team punted the ball. My gunner misses the tackle , ok so far, then for some unknown reason my offensive special team blockers (STB) tried tackling the return man and failed of course. Shouldn't my defensive special team tacklers (STT) have been on the field instead? The return went for 91 yards and a TD.
This happened twice more in the game with returns of 38 yards and 51 yards were my Punter was the only one who could tackle the return man. From the manual: A punt is a special teams kicking action where the punter will kick the ball to the opposing teams punt returner who will try to advance the ball against the kicking teams punt return defense. |

From the manual
For Kickoffs Special Team Blockers (STBL) and Special Team Tacklers (STT) are added And for Kickoffs only, not punts |
